Off of my 2nd losing week of the season LW. I have decided to play all plays for the same amount going forward.

My birthday is this week, and have overnight business trips to Baton Rouge and Lafayette scheduled, so will not be around much. Posting all of my definite plays now, even though only played Army so far.

Plays:

Army +11.5 x3
Kentucky +11.5 x3
Air Force +11 x3

Also like:

UCLA +6.5 would buy 1/2
Col +32
Ole Miss +6.5 would buy 1/2
N Mex +10.5
Ill +4
LSU +9 Can you say homer?!

Can't wait til Saturday:toast:

Happy Birthday Cie,
I was leaning on LSU because that is a nice number at home of the qb being injured. My only concern is the extra prep time Fla has had, still I am leaning on the tigers.

Thanks. I believe LSU has won 32 consecutive night games in Baton Rouge, including the last meeting with Florida.

I am eager to see the total on this one. LSU D is playing better by the week, and are healthier at DL now than a couple of weeks ago. Despite a limited pass rush, the secondary is playing exceptionally. The bulky LSU LBs can be exploited by Floridas' speed. All of this talk about Florida using a limited playbook is silly imo. This is bigboy ball, and I do not believe in being able to turn it on and off like a switch. Furthermore, it has been my opinion this season that Florida O misses Harvin and ex OC Mullen. Throw in the fact Tebow hasn't practiced in 2 weeks and I like the Gator offense to be contained to some degree.

LSU O has not played well enough this season to drive for multiple scores against Florida. Without improvement, which is unlikely due to poor interior line play, LSU will struggle offensively. Jefferson is susceptable to a pass rush, as he takes too long to look over his reads and has not shown the ability to throw the ball away. He was a dropback QB in high school, and is being used to run the option 10+ times a game due to the teams inability to run. He has the speed and athletic ability, but his form and technique running the option is poor, at best. His legs are best used when the pocket breaks down. LSU should roll and bootleg him imo, but haven't done so thus far. UGA stepped up the pressure in the 2h last week, taking advantage of both guards and the inexperienced center. The top 3 guards were all sick last week, so maybe that had something to do with the repeated breakdowns in the 2H.

I am looking at FL 24 LSU 14, but will be there hoping for the opposite. GL:weed:

Thanks. Going to have to look at that QB situation. I saw nothing listed on the injury report, but will dig deeper when I get a chance . GL

Happy B-Day!

Definitely take a look at the TCU - AF game again. TCU is 3-1 SU and ATS the last four games against AF. And that one loss was after TCU lost a tough, physical game against Texas.

I expected TCU not to cover the spread last week against SMU because of the history of TCU having a let down game after a huge win. TCU missed an extra point, failed going for two the next time and then mishandled a snap on the third extra point attempt. It should have at least been a push. TCU also had a chance to cover with time running out, but didn't score from inside the five then let the time run out on 4th down.

There's no reason TCU can't cover this week. AF hasn't had an offensive TD since the 3rd Qtr of the New Mexico game. Jefferson reinjured his ankle last week and the backup has been average when he's in.

Final score should be around TCU 42 AF 9

I'm seriously leaning towards taking a week off in the college wars. Shit has been occuring in quite an abundance in the games I have been on.

Think I'll just take one game each from you, Al, Hawk, Irish, Falcon and Spackler and back them. It's got to be better than the teams I've been landing on lately.

Good luck and Happy birthday.

Florida-LSU game a mini-NFL combine

Florida and LSU are two of the most talented teams in the country.

That talent will be on display Saturday night in Tiger Stadium in the form of 27 draft-eligible players who have a chance to either be drafted or sign as free agents, according to Scouts Inc. analyst Todd McShay.

McShay has Florida defensive end Carlos Dunlap rated as the No. 1 overall prospect in college football right now. Florida cornerback Joe Haden and LSU receiver Brandon LaFell are also rated highly by McShay.
