I'm surprised people thought that was a bullshit call. IT WAS OFFENSIVE PI, PERIOD!
The guy was already blocking the defender well before the ball got there, he didn't even try to make it look like a pick, he engages the DB with a the block. Many times it doesn't get called but many times it isn't as obvious as it was on that play.

Illegal picks are often not flagged but many times those receivers are running routes. This guy wasn't even attempting to run a route. It was blatant

That is an interesting concept.
I will sound like a whining bitch but i'd prefer if my team's QB was not a suspected rapist and most likely about to be found out for taking illegal benefits.
FSU has never been a bastion of good morals but this is taking the piss.

Not the worst call ever (still very marginal though) and I'd prefer if he did not get cancer.
Maybe time to go to bed chaps.
ND can still win out and be top 4. All is not lost.
It's not the worst call I've ever seen. Kudos to the defensive back coach to instruct his players to engage receivers like that.

Rewatch it......I know you agree it shouldnt have been a penalty, No. 20 engage for 3 yards from the line of scrimmage, which he is allowed to do......he releases while Golson has the ball......horrible call! Guys on Fox broke it down and said this.....interesting!
He didn't initiate the contact. Still not the worst call I've ever seen. Notre dame always has to play with some conferences officials, so it's not close to the worse call I've ever seen.
I guess it will be a 50/50 split, but when you hear Reggie Bush on twitter saying horrible call......a USC guy.....saying ND was robbed, makes you wonder.
