Jack - under no circumstances should YOU have to tolerate personal attacks PERIOD.

Happy holidays and I regret that you have to waste your time on such things as this - and I think I speak for the masses to say say its big of you to share your side but its not neccessary for you to defend yourself - you do what you need to do.. its your call.

We trust you and are behind you 100% - Have a great weekend.

Jack, you have the best site on the net, you sure as hell don't need to be putting up with this bullcrap. You're always going to have a few guys try to screw it up for the people that take this forum seriously. We're here for one reason and one reason only, to beat the man, and there's not a better place on the net to get information from some of the best cappers in the country. I support whatever decision you make, but personally, if I was in any way threatened or constantly e-mailed with negative remarks, these people would be banned. Thanks for all the hard work you and your staff do, and also thanks to the mature members of the forum for letting me kick the man in the ass every week.:nutkick

(and for that matter Pengiunfan?I love the fan phenomena here, always liking their team in a rout, its hilarious.)

Get your facts straight, I have lost more by fading the Penguins than betting on them this year and am still on the right side of the money here, not a homer by any stretch, another example of what makes you so popular around here. Be glad this isn't Survivor, guess who would be the first voted out.

wtf? first, is there anyone out there with any sense that really believes that the law of defamation and an anonymous internet posting forum could somehow overlap? if jack posts this fool's real name and address along with a computer generated likeness of him tucked in with michael jackson at neverland, then we'll take about defamation. otherwise, let's leave that behind. but to the point, i know i'd listen for about two seconds while some punk-ass boorish cybernerd emailed me neurotic threats about how i run my business. then i'd boot his ass straight into the unknown zone.

so sue me.

LOL!! :tmi: What's the difference between Michael Jackson and a grocery bag??

One is made of Plastic and very dangerous for children to play with......and the other is designed to carry groceries.

My attention span is short, so I only read the first few posts of this thread, but wanted to contribute my 2 cents...

Jack should do whatever he pleases. At least he felt kinship enough to ask others' opinions.

I haven't been around the forum long, I do not know of ND or his posts, but in reading his email to Jack in the first post, his tone is basically:

"If you don't make things happen the way I want them to, then I'm taking my ball and going home."

Who needs that? It's Jack's site, and Jack's business.

My knee-jerk reaction is "Fine, go home, crybaby". Again, I do not know ND, and I am not attacking him nor anyone who is on his side, this is simply my view.

It is a public forum, and you also have the choice to avoid posts by those you don't care for. Sounds simple to me. If you don't agree, that's fine, too. I can respect that.

Let's get on with beating the books.

wow and WOW

'doctor and lawyer" reads like ego trip to me.

I would not want to be his patient, after reading those emails.

but am I to really believe all that he states ?

Read "doctor now" & "lawyer now" ???

I don't know and can't find the common sense in my small brain to understand this. Can someone else with more knowledge than me, please explain why one would be a lawyer and a doctor at the same time.

Maybe you get better rates on your mal-practice insurance if you can defend yourself in a court of law? :D

I am a parts man and if I get the wrong part for your car my department pays for the rental car until the correct part arrives and we also pay for the FEDEX OVN charges to get it here.

Has any doctor ever bought a casket when he goofed ?

EASY NOW. I am not taking a shot at all doctor's just putting things into perspective.

Jack I remember the old AOL post boards also. I had just hit the net in 1996 and the whole thing struck me as a kinder kare kids game with all the BS that went on there, 10-15 % solid players and the rest was total crap. This forum is much better than that because of A. the members here and B. your IRON FIST WITH VELVET GLOVE strategy. Enough on that.

I have been guilty in the past of busting some people's chops on here in their thread, when I felt they had goofed on capping decision's, but I have tryed to be objective and have still had it backfire on me. One individual especially went way off in left field after I pointed out what I felt to be an error in playing a large road favorite in the NFL. That said I was wrong in doing it. I have laid low since then and will continue to do so. My systems have turned a profit for me the last six years so I will stay the course.

To close (which may take 2-3 more pages for me:D )

As some of the car dealer's I have worked for put it, IT"S MY way or the highway. This appears to be to be the position that ND took with Jack when in fact it is Jacks deal not ND's.

I don't play NHL anymore with time being the limiting factor and am not interested in paying the price in $$ or time to fashion a winning effort there. Yes I could coattail, but I find making a hometown wager on the Jackets and the over in every game I buy or get tickets for to be enough hockey wagering excitement for me. IF I was paying for a service NHL would be the first sport I would look too.

Thus said I have no idea of the value of his NHL info, nor do I really care.

Not sure about the episode that IE speaks of :

"This isnt new and Ive been around long enough to remember when this happened four or so years ago on a much bigger scale.
"

But I do agree with the inmates running the asylum statement AKA tail wagging the dog.

Bottom line :

Am I better having found this site and being here? yes!

Do I want to continue posting here in spite of all this? yes!

Have I had a few run in's with other memeber's? yes, ask Scott the KOD's

Have I emailed Jack and whined about anything? No

We even have the same crap on the benchrest forum I follow. It is human nature it seems. One guy keeps whining about where the nationals are held or one range scheduling shoots without checking another range's schedule.

I used to officiate high school baskets and I remember a rookie coach at a freshman girl's game who said: you can't do that! I replyed: Oh yes I can and I just did ! I was correct and my experience told me so, Jack your experience is telling you the correct thing to do I think, so make the call man you are OUR OFFICIAL here, and like it or not we will march on.

It all makes me think of the song from long ago by the Youngbloods:
