What is the correct pay off on these bets. how much does a 360 favorite pay if you bet on the dog.

last night i had texas as a 360 dog. i play a 20 cent line. how much comes off if you bet the dog texas.

same thing for playing detroit at a 280 dog.

please tell me what my book should pay if he deals a 20 cent line.

20 cent line means if a bet on a 140 dog i get paid 120 on a 100 dollar bet. but things change when betting on the dog when it gets above a 2 dollar favorite or so i am told.

s.e.c...........It just depends on the book you're using. A true 20 cent line would be say -360 and +340 but most books will only go up to a certain line and then the juice gets a lot higher. For instance Schilling today is currently 40 cent cut at WSEX and 80 cent cut Carib. Just depends, but most books will only go up to a certain line......then the juice goes up.

this book says 20 comes off from a 120 favorite to a 200 favorite' 40 dollars comes off from a 210 favorite to a 240 favorite..
50 dollars comes off from a 250 favorite to a 290 favorite and 100 dollars comes off on all 300 and above plays.

what dosent seem right is that by betting a 300 dog it pays less than a dog betweeen 250 and 290.

i would like to know exactly what is the pay out on betting texas and detroit last night. with using the book you guys use.

texas was a 360 dog and detroit was a 280 dog. he uses the sterling line.

yesterday at CRIS (20 cent bases) BOS was -330 and texas was +270

today they have arizona -360 and cincy +300 and gibraltar (dime line bases) has ari -400 and cin +320

so, it depends on the book.

20 cents is 20 cents on the dollar....

-120 = +100
-180 = +150
-240 = +200
-300 = +250
-360 = +300 etc.

most books round it off at some point (-150 could be +130 or +120) -- many variations of rounding so find the best deal

best suggestion -- look for generous 10 cent line

pinnacle is who i would go with also not bad to have cris hell out here they bump the numbers and rape you on the take back at most places except a few. have a few 10cent lines out here 2 and a few -105 in ncaa and nfl this year out here.
