R u kidding me! I don't think I've ever seen a spread this high in the nfl. Think pats r worthy of that? I don't.
the pats were 23-24pt favs over somebody they played the yr they went 16-0 but icant remember who it was...and failed to cover every time....i dont think the colts have been trying that har to get a win this year. the only two games they playd for 60 minutes was against tampa on mnf and last week against carolina...but from here on out i got a feeling they will play hard every single game until they get at least one win. will it come against the pats? probably not, but i may sprinkle on the moneyline. I do however think the colts plus whatever first half is a good bet. the pats aint blowing nobody out in the first half. i know they did it to my eagles but our d played like shit. a blown coverage td and another td with nsmonwaaa going for the pick. 2nd half is 50/50.
I really think the colts were holding back a little for that #1 pick in the draft (i just hope their not holding out for luck, because that will be a waste). at this point its secure and they'll be playing with nothing but pride.
New D coordinator and QB (not Peyton) for Colts announced today.
Saw 21 earlier on this game... have seen some real high spreads. Recall 49'ers vs. Bucs around 23 years ago. 49'ers Super Bowl vs. Chargers was 18 to 20 (recall I had 20 through a local).
Wagging the dog's tail: A 20-point favorite has not covered since 1992, when the Bills routed the Colts, 38-0, according to The Wall Street Journal. And, since 1978 there have been ten 20-point NFL betting lines.
Back n the Day, bet SD-21 against Seattle. It was Dan Fouts and Air Coryell against Zorn to Largent.
Chargers up 21 -0 in first quarter. Up 28-0 with 5 seconds left. Zorn throws Hail Mary....gets an interference call and scores with no time left!
