Heres the situation.

I was relocated up north for work about 2 years ago, I knew all along i wanted to get back down south. I met this girl a year ago who lived about 70 miles away from me and told her that my goal was to get back down south, and she agreed to relocate.

Anyway, now I am back down south ( i worked with my company to find a location that my gf and I would both agree on) and now she says she isnt moving down here until she gets a teaching job..

So should I continue with a (8 hour) long distance relationship for what possibly could be another year or more., or look elsewhere

Keep in mind i was planning on proposing within the next month.

I'd tell her that you were thinking marriage and that she is blowing it by not wanting to move.

Be patient and calm. Think about it from her perspective. If you were thinking proposal then there is SOMETHING there.

If she is negative at all move on. It'll suck but it'll suck less now versus 5 years and two kids later.

Is she actively pursuing a job where you live? If she is then no big deal. If she isn't, dump her quick.
