Need some positive vibes sent to my mom

She gets her first treatment for Wet AMD - Macular Degeneration in an hour and the sweet 82 year old is scared. She's going to get an injection into the back of her right eye. :facepalm:

We just found out last week she has this condition.

Very weird that I was invested in ACTC and now my mom gets the disease. Fuck!

At least her left eye doesn't have the wet AMD but there's still no stopping her eyesight from getting worse. Just slower then the right eye.

I think her driving days are coming to an end.

I feel so bad for her.

Maybe positive vibes by large groups work miracles :shrug:

apparently i have drusen in the back of one of my eyes, and i'm only 34...

so have been through all the worrying about eyesight loss from mac degen for a lil while now as all you can do is try and adjust your diet somewhat and even still, am just left crossing fingers/hoping for best

with that, heres hoping your MOM hangs in there, doesnt advance any further. -truly, T
