I don't care who they play next week but there is no way they win.

They beat up on a very average team today and really did not impress me at all.

Either Denver or Indy will beat the shit out of them.

Pats run ends next week....take it to the bank.

I agree that is was a pathetic display by the Jacksonville Kitty-Cats (you are giving them to much credit for calling them average) and not an impressive Patriot performance that highlighted the game. But New England can't be faulted for winning easily. They really didn't do much wrong....they played simple fundamental football. If they make no mistakes again, maybe they make it competative next week......although I won't be backing them anything less than +10.

12-4 haha.....USC...er ah...Texas could've beat the Jag-offs!

Agree that the pats didn't show us there best yesterday but they were also far from bad, which is what a well coached, well QB'd, experienced team does when their season is on the line. Can't see myself taking them next week either regardless of where they travel to, but it's hard not to respect a team that mid season found their focus and have given themselves a chance to reach yet another superbowl. Next week may well be a different story away from home but how can you say they 'suck' after they just polished off a decent defensive team by 4 td's. Not as good as years past and that is obvious, but any team that continually puts itself in the position the pats have after winning three of the past 4 SB's deserves some credit. Staying at the the level they have is an impressive effort in any sport IMO.

I have to disagree. I will be backing them next week. They did have an avg. game, offensively, and the book saw that. They will ajust accordingly. They will probably be getting atleast touchdown at Indy. And I'll take the defending champions and there 10 game playoff steak. Well, atleast I say that now. You know how things change.

The biggest mistake the Jaguars made in the game was not starting David Garrard...even though Leftwich was ready to play...he was rusty and Garrard would have given the Jags an added dimension with his running ability and escapeability from the Pats pass rush.

Sounds like Buffalo Bill took Jacksonville and lost his a$$. Sorry dude, but NE straight out beat em. Take your loss and move on. Bet against NE again next week and take your chances.

NO ACTION.

But...

These connoisseurs of Clam Chowder are in for a rude awakening next week.

If New England were to win the super bowl again, the world would vomit in unison, creating a wave of rancid puke that would rival even the great tsunami of 2005.

Colts! Hey!

I hate the Pats, but they seem to get every break and call go their way.(tuck rule). Even with all the injuries they still seem to win. With that in mind, I won't bet against them. I just pray they get smoked!

completely disagree.i dont think its unreasonable to say that they are one of the strongest teams.the only team that i think has a chance against them is indy in indy. past have teh best coach, probably best qb and they are the best and most experiance team. imo

When they lose they will not credit their opponent, they will be ungracious losers, kinda like Shamrocks post.If you think theyare going all the way this year, covering every game Shammy you've not had your eyes open this year. They are swinging like rotten carrion, ready to be put out of their misery.

Hey Bill,
Sour grapes or what? I have made a living with Pats and can't understand why much of the country hates them. You have to admit they are a class orginizatiion. The true def. of TEAM!!

i don't know how anybody can say that the pats suck...they've overcome many injuries to make it to the playoffs.....don't know how far they will go....but they're battle tested, which means alot this time of year...

The Pat's last 5 opponents before the Jax game were pathetic. They wanted to lose the last game of the year (smart move by Bill) to get the easiest opponent in the first round of the playoffs. Don't blame them but no matter who they play next week at Indy or at Denver they lose. They can't hide their weaknesses against those teams. Neither are one dimensional. And Billy hasn't had the two weeks to prepare like the big boys had. I give the Pat's credit as they have been a class organization for a while now but their run is just about over. Thankfully so cuz I live in New England and hate all the guys at work talking about them all the time. I can only hope they go to Denver so I can get some satifaction of ending the run with the team I love to root for.

Go Pitt...help the Pats come to Denver!!!!!

i was thinking the same thing during the game last night. pats seemed to always be getting lucky on 3rd and ~8, getting ints, etc. no way they can be doing that against indy. I have nothing against the pats either, but i'd take den -3 and indy -6.5. I'm glad they blew jax out cause that will make the lines higher.
