IMO - You cannot handicap weather like this. 50 mph winds? Even in gusts, its going to take any advantage Brady has over Cutler and minimize it.

You now take this game and make it front 7s or 8 vs each other, especially with the starting MLB out for NE and you are backing the wrong team.

Id buy back and sit this one on the sidelines.

Anyway, not trying to change your mind (I'm not delusional) but just wanted to add that. Enjoy your posts and congrats on your excellent year so far. As a Bears fan, it would be disingenuous of me to wish you luck today so the best I can do is say that if the Pats do win I hope they cover.

NFL ...... 11-1 .. 92% ... + $ 5,354.00

Thanks guys its time to forge ahead now with the playoffs coming up on the horizon.

Can't say enough about Tom Brady. Wow what a performance in the snow.

And my player of the game is Wes Welker. He made it known early that he was there to catch the ball over the middle and he didn't care if it was -30 below zero. Welker has no fear. Linebackers trying to keep him from the ball or intimidating him is a no go.

Honerable mention to NE other receivers, running backs and tight ends. Wow what a game they played.

Cutler played as expected. I need to pull his stats up.

The Chicago offensive line is a joke. They can't half block and lead the league in holding.

Hard to believe that they cut this game off and went to the Jets / Miami game. I was enjoying that game. I have never seen them do that before in a long long time. wtf

Brady picked apart the league's third-ranked defense, completing 27 of 40 passes with no interceptions for the eighth straight game. And the Patriots increased their lead in the AFC East to two over the Jets. :SIB

"It was a chess match, and he said check mate," Bears safety Chris Harris said. :0074

Deion Branch caught eight passes for a career-high 151 yards, including a 59-yard touchdown at the end of the first half.

Wes Welker had eight receptions for 115 yards and the Patriots totaled 475 yards while holding NFC North leader Chicago to 185.

coming back from major knee surgery and he continues to play like this :0008

"It happens from time to time, especially against a good football team, but then you go back and this game counts as one loss, no more than that," coach Lovie Smith said. "We went into this game against the Patriots in first place in our division and we still are. We just have to take care of business from here on out." :142smilie

Jay Cutler struggled, going 12 of 26 for 152 yards with two interceptions and two sacks. He had a 32.9 rating, and the running game was a non-factor. :142smilie

The half ended with the sideline calling for a knee and Brady ignoring the order before hitting Branch with that 59-yarder as time expired.

"There was a lot of yelling and screaming," Branch said. "I do know that I heard one of the coaches saying they wanted to take a knee, but I think Tom's eyes got a little big. He looked over at me like, 'No, take this shot.'" :SIB :00hour

The 475 yards were the most allowed by the Bears this season. ...

Belichick and Brady now have 108 wins together, second most for a coach-quarterback tandem. The Dolphins' Don Shula and Dan Marino had 116. ... Brady tied Don Meredith for the most consecutive games with at least two touchdown passes and no interceptions. Meredith also had six in 1965-66.
