What I said was true in the sixties also. Would you go out on a limb and agree that the Packers were "contending" in the sixties?

I remember Marsh very well. I remember when the Brewers were playing the Cards in the 1982 playoffs, and Marsh came on to do the sports wearing a St. Louis hat. He said, "I've always been a Redbird fan." I hated him even more after that. He disliked all Wisconsin athletics.
It's still up in the air, but I think there is a good chance he will be a solid player. However, who knows after last year's injury. Packers wanted to sign him at a renegotiated price, but he wouldn't do it. Vikes again waiting to pick up the Packers' losses. I am curious to know whether these guys are making more with the Vikes than they would have with the Pack. You would have to assume they are, at least to some degree.
I agree that the Pack would be mediocre at best without Rodgers. But the same applies to all teams. The QB is by far the most important position. Maybe a few of the defensive powerhouses like Pitt and Balt get by with mediocre quarterbacks, but not too many teams will.
I see Pinnacle has the Vikings wins over/under at 7 1/2 and you can take the over at +112! I would think you would like those odds, bp.
Pack is 10 1/2. Chi is 8 1/2 and Det is 8.
