Wow, sorry to hear that Old School. Just a horrible run of bad luck. Nothing you can do about injuries, especially injuries during the game. That practice injury was just a fluke. Very very rare.
I always wait until Friday night to lock in any sort of big play. If they are just one unit plays, then yeah I will try to get the best line I can and lock them in early. But just to be on the safe side, since these are 3 to 4 unit plays, I think it's best to wait. However, you can end up getting worse lines by waiting too, so there's that to consider as well. It's not an easy game. If it were, we would all be able to quit our day jobs and become the next Billy Walters.
