just went through every teams schedule and took four games at a time trying to cap what games each team would win or lose in blocks of four.

with kc's additions with charlie and romeo, jamal charles thinking will have a great year, solid qb, and some good defense pick ups, with a soft schedule imo, they came out 11-5.... i'm not second guessing anything and i'll def be taking a shot at them to win this division. books have them anywhere from 5-1 to 11-1 i seen.

and jack, lets go ravens to win it all!!!!!! :00hour

come cold weather time, with ray rice pounding the runs, bolden as a great wr addition, and although the defense is aging, they still have that attitude......going to be tough to beat this team

Chiefs at 11 to 1 to win the AFC West would have some value. Considering the Broncos could be a train wreck and Oakland won't be good as usual and I like those odds. The Chargers are the obvious pick, but Rivers is still a headcase capable of imploding at any moment and Norv Turner... well enough said. However, Rivers goes down and San Diego could really be hurting.

However, I'll be absolutely shocked if the 4-12 Chiefs can even make .500. Their defensive line is still one of the worst in the NFL and their TE & WR's are weak. I also wouldn't bet on the Chiefs LB's being tough. The secondary should be above average IMHO. The addition of Berry should really help the Safety position and Brandon Flowers is already a solid CB starting just his 3rd season.

They look okay @ QB with Cassel and have a serviceable backup in Croyle and have a solid 1-2 punch @ RB in Jamaal Charles & Thomas Jones. Chiefs OL was bad early last season, but played really well after that thug Larry Johnson left town. I still think they're weaker than a typical OL in the NFL.

Still not sold on Todd Haley being a head coach in the NFL. Guy makes some horrible ingame decisions and appears to be a total hothead too often during games. Reminds me of a high school coach, not a NFL coach. At least they have some decent coordinators now.:0074

I actually just checked my offshore and they're 10-1... WOW! Maybe I'll throw a small wager on this future. If KC beats the Chargers in the MNF opener, the team would actually start the season technically 2 games up on the favorite... (1 game plus the tiebreaker).

Agree on San Francisco winning their division. With Arizona's departures and the fact the Rams and Seattle really suck, don't see how they lose. I know Jack won't like to hear it, but the Ravens won't win the Super Bowl. However, we still have a few months for B-more to prove me wrong.

KC is also my pick to surprise. If the Chargers shaky offseason isn't resolved by week 1, the division is really up for grabs and I don't see Denver or Oakland being able to take advantage of the situation...KC seems to have the pieces in place to do so.
