week 6 report

Really liking this card... seems pretty easy but we all know how that can end up :scared

jaguars at BRONCOS (-26.5)
Denver hosts the leagues worst team possibly in the history of the NFL. This should be a complete massacre. Throw in the fact that denver gave up 48 last week, I see a defense showing up to play some inspired football for their fans. Manning will hang 38+ and I really don't think the jags make it into the endzone.. I also think the under hits for people that play totals, thinking 41-6 type game.
Play: BRONCOS -26.5

redskins at COWBOYS (-5.5)
Dallas coming off a big time offensive performance against the immortals, and now got a very weak secondary coming into town. The big knock on the cowboys thou is their weak ass secondary. RG3 coming off his first win of the season against a banged up raiders team followed by a much needed bye week to work out the wrinkles. This should be an exciting game and catching anything over 4 for either team and you are making a wise investment.
Play: REDSKINS +5.5

steelers at JETS (-2.5)
Pittsburgh is a complete mess right now, and the jets are a pleasant surprise thus far. This defense is for real and I just don't see how the steelers will move the ball with any consistency. The only way this don't cover is if the Jets commit several turnovers. I think Rex keeps them focused after the huge win against the Falcons in primetime.
Play: JETS -2.5

titans at SEAHAWKS (-13.5)
This is my wacky selection this week.. :dizzy: Seattle coming home to play the titans after losing for the first time this season to the colts. They have won 10 straight at home and will be going against the back-up quarterback in Fitzpatrick. I just really am going with my gut on this one I suppose, but I think the 49ers start to creep back in the conversation as the top team out of the NFC West after this week... dare I say it, but I think the titans have a solid shot at pulling off the SU win and will make that my selection in the MJs underdog moneyline contest.
Play: TITANS +13.5 :popcorn2

eagles (-1.5) at BUCCANEERS
This is another one I am going with my gut on but the NFL loves storylines and drama. After this week we will have a big quarterback controversy going on in Philly with Chip Kelly put in an awkward position. Foles is solid, and I think will do very well in this system. Tampa Bay defense is tough but the eagles will not be thinking pass first, they will gash the bucs on the ground setting up big plays for Foles and Jackson.. Eagles in a route
Play: EAGLES -1.5 :0071

Love the Titans play!! I am on it as well!! I am still uncertain about MJ ML play this week as I currently posted Oakland...but that may change. I considered the Titans but I am leaning to Oakland pulling of the upset and giving KC their first loss. I personally think this weeks lines are hardest of the season....

GL MAN!! I am against yah on Jets play and will be cheering on my Cowboys but no action on the line.....Let Dallas win by 4! HA! :toast:

week 7 report

sd (-7.5) @ JAX
the chargers got away with murder last week as the zebras let them have their way with the colts. The chargers have not impressed me all that much and think this would be a good spot to fade them. I told myself I wouldn't back the jaguars again this season but I just can't help myself. This line is too high in my opinion and should be closer to 5. With Henne getting the start I think this bodes well for the jags, and teams have played well the following week after playing the broncos. Also any time you take a home dog, it's never too bad of an idea.
Play: JAX +7.5

ne (-4) @ NYJ
The patriots coming off a dramatic last second comeback win against the Saints to hand them their first loss of the season. Injuries beginning to stack up against NE as well. The jets are a lot better than I had originally thought. I rode them last week straight to the toilet, this week I am hoping for a better outcome. This should be a low scoring affair, and again I am hoping that the jets can limit the turnovers. If they take care of the ball, this should be down to the wire.
Play: NYJ +4

chi @ WAS (-1)
The redskins host the bears this week. Washington hung in there with the cowboys despite what the final score said. Special teams really let them down in Dallas. RG3 is getting better each week and I am really not sold on the Chicago at this point. If the skins have any chance at righting the ship, this is it. I consider this a must win, and they should leave it all the field in front of their hometown fans.
Play: WAS -1

buf @ MIA (-8)
Both teams coming off back to back losses, the bills going into overtime to eventually lose to the bengals last week while the dolphins enjoyed a much needed bye week after starting the season 3-0 only to fall to 3-2. I like miami's defense to give buffalo's inexperienced qb some fits this week. I also can see the bills throwing in the towel if they get behind early. Miami is still very much in the hunt, playing a below average team in the bills, at home, coming off a bye week, sounds like the recipe to a good ole fashion ass whoopin!
Play: MIA -8

dal @ PHI (-3)
I am definitely drinking the eagles kool-aid right now. I was high on them last week and like them even more this week. The cowboys defense is suspect to say the least, now minus Ware. I feel this is Foles' chance to win the starting role. He played solid last week against a tough defense, now he is heading back home for a big time divisional matchup. I don't expect a let down in this spot and see him picking up where he left off last week and continuing to improve. I know I said they would win in a route last week, I may have been off a bit, but again I am seeing a big time win here to grab first place in the NFC east.
Play: PHI -3

My favorite two this week are the Miami Dolphins and Philadelphia Eagles :bigun:

As always best of luck and thanks for stopping by :0008

I am gonna go doggy style Sunday Night. I will just play about 25 cents. I am hoping for a good game and having it come down to a walk off field goal to win it. I still like Peyton and know that he is great. Just kind of get tired of all the hype. Not to long ago it was Brett Favre that got sickening with all the media hype. I think Peyton sort of took his place?

Can not help but wonder if the Colts were looking ahead to hosting the Peyton Manning show prime time. Just hanging out in Sunny San Diego. Also think that the Colts owner is spouting off for a reason. Unless he really is just a lunkhead? Either way, should be a good one?

Good luck All!

week 8 report

jets @ BENGALS (-6.5)
Wish I took my boys last week but that was a tough match-up, this week they host the Jets coming off a home victory over the Patriots. To beat the Jets you need to pressure the rookie qb into turnovers and the Bengals defense has the ability to do just that. Dalton playing well last week in Detroit and look to seeing a mid season groove forming here in this game. The Jets are a very scrappy team with a strong defense but at the same time are very beatable as the offense lacks playmakers in the skilled positions. I think the Bengals get a nice comfortable win at home this week by winning the field position and turnover battles. 23-13 Bengals
Play: BENGALS -6.5

cowboys @ LIONS (-3.5)
Lions coming off a loss to the bengals, cowboys coming off an ugly win over the eagles to clinch first in the NFC East. Dallas showed some defense against philly but this was also against the 2nd and 3rd string qbs. That being said, their defense is still very suspect and they will be heading into a hornets nest in the Lions. Detroit looks to be healthy and coming in with a chip on their shoulder after losing a nail biter to the Bengals. They move the ball well through the air and Dallas has struggled with their secondary in particular. Lions too much for the Cowboys who come into this game a bit beat up and will be 2nd straight road game. 34-20 Lions
Play: LIONS -3.5

steelers (-2.5) @ RAIDERS
I don't think the steelers are any real threat this season and think this is a nice spot to fade them after two straight wins. Traveling across the states to Oakland to play a feisty raiders squad with a decent defensive front. Ill take a low grinder in this game with Oakland pulling ahead late, 21-17
Play: RAIDERS +2.5

redskins @ BRONCOS (-12.5)
Broncos coming off a big primetime game against the colts where they lost for the first time this year. Now they come home to host the redskins coming off a win over the bears but the defense still giving up monster yards and points. Denver defense is suspect but it's quarterback play that is getting the best of the Broncos, and I don't think RG3 will keep up with Peyton's video game numbers in this one. High scoring affair here with the Broncos getting back in the W column, 45-24 Broncos
Play: BRONCOS -12.5

seahawks (-10.5) @ RAMS
This is one of these, I don't get this line, please someone explain? Seems like this line should be 2 tds at least, double digit victory gets the cheese huh.... All i smell is a rat.. Ill take the rams at home to keep it close in this divisional match-up, St Louis' defense isn't too bad and the seahawks tend to struggle a bit on the road, give me the seahawks to win this by a score of 24-16
Play: RAMS +10.5 :SIB
