i went 3-2 last week now at 22 1/2 points if i was in contest but just for records for next year i'm keeping track

3 winners were Bengals Panthers Colts Losers Browns Titans.

This week i totally agree with you Raiders win game Broncos in shoot out easy like you said 45 50 ish to 20 something

Rams are a total mess right now no real QB and hurting on both sides i favor Seahawks here low scoring win 24 - 10

They will hit Rams weakness on Defense .....OL jeff will need every trick in his bag to pull off a win but he just aint got the Weapons right now !

week 9 report

cin (-2.5) @ MIA
The bengals have been hot lately coming off a dominating performance against the Jets last week where Dalton registered his 3rd straight game turning in big numbers.. While the dolphins have lost their past 4 games and cannot seem to get out of this funk they catch themselves in. The dolphins' schedule so far is a pretty tough road thou. I immediately was thinking "trap" game when I first seen this line open up. Then I started looking further into it and have now come to the realization that Miami has played a tough set of teams and have played each opponent tough except the saints in the superdome, which if I remember correctly they did play the first half fairly competitive and might have been a whole differen ballgame if not for a turnover right before the half or something. The bengals, on the other, for years have had a tendency to play down to their competition and sleep walk into a game getting their teeth kicked in during the process. I also see this being a low scoring game, so the home team catching points with a chance to pull back to .500 for the season is very tempting. Hate to say it but I see it 24-23 fish on top. I also think cin will be a popular pick this week in our contest, and I like going against the masses..
Play: MIA +2.5

ten (-3) @ STL
The rams played out of their shoes last week against the seahawks and even had a chance to beat them there at the end but fell short. They are at home again hosting a titans team that has lost 3 straight, but they were against the best of the best in SF, SEA, and KC... but those teams also are very physical and can take there toll on you especially playing all 3 in a row. They also seem to be getting their starting QB back this week as Locker looks ready to go. The rams on the other hand are sending Clemmons out for the 2nd straight game, where I see him playing a bit better this week with managing the game and avoiding turnovers. This should be a close game, but I think I want to roll the dice one more week with that insane pass rush they put on the seahawks last week.. Stacy didn't look too bad either so I'll take the home dog with a decent rushing attack and an aggressive pass rush on the other side of the ball, 20-13 Rams
Play: STL +3

phi @ OAK (-2.5)
Raiders cashed in last week against the steelers, and philly has looked pitiful the past 2 weeks.. I try to keep this as simple as possible with this one. I believe the wrong team is favored here. Should be a pk worst case.. Eagles defense has played better the past few weeks, and Foles is getting the start again.. I could be seeing this team thru rose colored glasses here, but I just really think the eagles make a run for their division and think they are better than what their record indicates. Tread lightly with this selection as Foles laid a complete egg last outing. 31-20 eagles
Play: phi +2.5

kc (-3) @ BUF
The chiefs are the only unbeaten team and are heading to Buffalo this week before having to play the Peyton Manning's 2 out of 3 games... Look ahead right? Wrong.. Andy Reid keeps this team focused and this team knows how to do two things very well, rush the passer and protect the ball. Give me the chiefs all day in this matchup where I see them putting it all together before their huge games against Denver. They also know slipping up against a team like Buffalo will really hurt them with the Mannings right on their heels knowing that whoever wins home field advantage probably becomes AFC champ... I'll bite on the low number, 27-16 chiefs heading to denver undefeated for a mega matchup with HUGE tv ratings :0074
Play: kc -3

sd (-1) @ WAS
I like to keep this one simple... chargers on their 2nd straight road game, coming off back to back wins, one against the colts in san diego where the Refs allowed the chargers to straight do whatever they pleased with no repercussions, then they traveled to Jacksonville and beat a high school team.. On the other hand, rg3 and the skins got their shit pushed in by the Peyton Mannings this past week.. but I ignore all run ins with this squad because it's hard to avoid being raped if youre 5'6'' 120 lbs stuck in a room with a horny Deebo.. Give me the home team looking to gain some face back after getting curb stomped last week. 31-27 redskins
Play: WAS +1

week 10 report

switching it up just a bit this week, got 3 away teams and looks like ill be with the public on 3 as well :scared

was (-2.5) at MIN
the redskins have given up 24 points or more in 7 of 8 games this season. The vikings have scored 23 or more in 6 of 8 games, scoring 30 or more in 3 of those 6. So I think it is fair to assume the vikings find a way to hang 27 minimum. So the question becomes do I think the redskins hang with this number.. the redskins have scored 30 or more 2 of 8, the most recent coming last week taking overtime to achieve it. I'll gamble they score less than 30, which makes the home dog look nice, 27-24 vikings.
Play: MIN +2.5

phi at GB (-1.5)
here I go again.. I feel like their is massive value in the eagles. I'll take Foles over Wallace all day, and I guess vegas is a bit behind on getting a read on this eagles team. They are a nightmare to any defensive coordinator so I think it would be quite stupid to not take them catching points vs a backup quarterback, 31-17 eagles overwhelm a limping packers squad.
Play: phi +1.5

cin (-1.5) at BAL
the bengals head to play the ravens on their 2nd consecutive road game, losing last week in overtime to the dolphins. The ravens have scored 20 or less in 5 of 8 games, going up against a bengals defense that is banged up quite a bit but still a very solid unit. This will be a tough game, but I just really think the Bengals get the job done here. Its just hard not to take the small chalk, I'll bite, 23-20 bengals.
Play: cin -1.5

dal at NO (-6.5)
Saints are tough at the superdome in primetime slots.. Dallas is struggling right now and is headed straight into a brick wall. This is the last situation the cowboys want to be facing right now after the saints took a loss last week to the jets and will come into this match up with a chip on their shoulder. Dallas will not be able to keep up with the insane numbers Brees and company drop on em under the lights, 35-23 Saints.
Play: NO -6.5

mia (-2.5) at TB
Miami is a tough squad. I said it last week and ill say it again, the dolphins have had tough competition this season so far and are sitting at 4-4, Very respectable. this is an odd situation where Miami will be on back to back primetime games, don't know any numbers on this type of scenario but I will say probably can't hurt. Tampa bay played the seahawks tough in the first half but fell apart. I think tampa bay definitely has a chance at winning their first game of the season here, but I'll gamble with a battle tested, scrappy, solid defense, solid rushing attack, squad that is playing their 3rd primetime game of the season over a team that will be more likely to throw in the towel with the first sign of conflict. 24-13 dolphins.
Play: mia -2.5

or you asking about the weeks most popular selection vs the least popular selection and how that has done over the year? I would have to look back into it for exact records but can be done by going thru the thread, seems like the popular picks go down in flames

week 11 report

ind (-2.5) @ TEN
Last week's final score in Indy was quite a surprise to me, not that the rams won but the beatdown they put on them 38-8. Looking at the Titans schedule they have played a tough set of games and are still in this race. Their losses have come to sea, sf, kc, hou ot, and jax. Look for a bit of a hangover from last week's whirl wind defeat, as the titans keep this a slugfest at home. The teams on paper appear damn near equal so the home dog brings me in, 23-17 Titans get it done.
Play: TEN +2.5

was @ PHI (-3.5)
Shocker here. I'm all over this squad, tons of value again here. They have lost a shit ton at home I know, but that is a double edge sword, they gotta win sometime right? Washington is not very good, defense struggles and RG3 is beatable. Foles has thrown for 16 TDs rushed for 1 TD all while not throwing an INT. He should have a big day against this defense. I have both Foles and RG3 in a 2 qb fantasy so I am hoping for a shoot out :00hour I see a comfortable 34-24 Eagles victory this week with the skins getting some production out of the pass game late in the contest.
Play: PHI -3.5

sd (-1.5) @ MIA
I have been on the fish a few times this year, and I am going back to this team once again. The chargers don't have too great of a defense and I think that is what is the difference in this one will come down to. I think the dolphins are battle tested, have played everyone tough, at home catching points, ok prove me wrong san diego, 24-21 Miami gets back into the win column.
Play: MIA +1.5

sf @ NO (-3)
The saints are tough at home no doubt. But this week their Achilles heel is exposed once again. The saints are vulnerable against the run and don't play too well when up against physical defenses. The niners are in a must win situation and are very good at running the ball. They defend the pass well and bring a "punch you in the mouth" attitude into the game. 24-23, 49ers come into the dome and leave with the victory
Play: sf +3

ne @ CAR (-2.5)
Not many times do you see Tom Brady on a monday night catching points. Much deserved too, the panthers are on a current 5 game win streak with one of the top defenses in the league. The patriots have struggled to teams that play good defense. The panthers need this win to keep up with the vanishing playoff seats. Carolina pulls away late 28-17.
Play: CAR -2.5

Fwiw, I really like the Niners and Dolphins this week, too, Whodey. Also like Tampa, Minnesota, and Oakland. I know they are ugly but even ugly girls get asked to the prom. Arizona should hammer Jax. Good luck this week.

week 12 report

no (-9) @ ATL
Perfect spot to fade the saints here, they are coming off a tough fought, very physical game, that has a bunch of controversy as I believe they were lucky as hell on that, but have 3 very important games coming up against sea, car, and car, that will make them give atl a generic offense to not expose anything and just get away with a victory. This is the falcons superbowl, they will keep it close in a low scoring game where the saints walk away with an ugly win 27-20.
Play: ATL +9

car (-4) @ MIA
This is a game I like to fade for the same reason stated above. We will all see a very generic, underestimating your opponent type thing going on which will lead to the dolphins landing a solid uppercut to the visiting panthers. I do think that cam newton gets it done and wins in the end, but I'll take the home team catching over a FG all day.. 20-17 Carolina
Play: MIA +4

pit @ CLE (-2)
Fun match up here right? You bet your ass it is, shitty cold weather slug it out AFC North football here in Cleveland this week. With that being said I will take the home team that is not too used to being a favorite over this divisonal rival, but deserving none the less. This will be a dog fight but I see the browns coming back this week with a solid win after their loss to the bengals. The steelers are not that good and don't mind gambling on a team that I have thought all of preseason might be a team to look out for versus a team that is very pedestrian at best. I'll take the browns to cover this foreign ground of being a favorite 24-17.
Play: CLE -2

dal @ NYG (-2.5)
The cowboys are losing control of this what seemed to be very easy to win division. This game has all sorts of playoff implications and you will see both teams coming out swinging for the fences and leaving it all on the field. With that being said, you know who I think is going to end up the victors of this division and that's the eagles, but I also believe I have a good read on this cowboys team and my gut screams to jump shit completely while I still have time, for fantasy purposes as well, trying to sell before any further damage is done.. I'll take the home team that is playing with a chip on their shoulder, at home, in frigid temperature, has a decent pass rush lately against a team that is one loss away from being complete chaos and finger pointing thing with the media fueling it, looks like jason garret will be thrown to the wolves. Cowboys go down hard this week, 35-20.
Play: NYG -2.5

den (-2.5) @ NE
Lets keep this super simple... Patriots at home, bad weather, coming off a loss, getting points, gaaaamble.. Obviously I hate to be up against the broncos and peyton but it's a nice spot. The broncos are coming in off a tough game to the chiefs and have them on deck as well and they are hobbled just as much as the patriots are and the weather will be the equalizer, patriots get it done, 31-27.
Play: NE +2.5
