Where do the words end? MORE IMPORTANTLY WAS THERE AN OUTCRY AMONG THE PLAYERS FOR THE CHANGE? ARE ANNOUNCERS GOING TO START SAYING LATE IN CLOSE GAMES,"THEY ARE LETTING THEM TALK, THEY DON'T WANT THE" N WORD" TO DETERMINE THE WINNER OF THIS CRUCIAL GAME?
or there is a 15 yd penalty being doled out now right in the last two minutes.

So NFL keeps the name REDSKINS, but lets a game be decided on the saying of the N WORD no matter what the con text or who is saying it? Since THUG is now a code word for the N WORD, should the "N WORD" be code for saying the N WORD too? :shrug:
So, if a white guy says, "Nice dropped pass, Nigger", he gets 15 yards. Ok...fine. Now, when both players are black and one says to the other, "Nigger, you shoulda stayed home today, motherfucker", will he be flagged?
so they`re going to start penalizing black players for saying this to other black players(because white players aren`t calling black players the "n" word...certainly not players they aren`t friendly with on opposing teams)?......
gotta say that when i was boxing in the police athletic league in new jersey as a kid,there wasn`t many white kids in the program(there was exactly two including myself and we weren`t calling anybody the "n" word,believe me...lol)...the "n' word was used almost solely as a term of friendship and comaraderie....this is obviously aimed at black players almost exclusively...
christ,we already have taunting penalties....use that as a blanket sanction and if they feel like they have to enforce a rule that singles out one particular racial epithet(how in hell is that fair?),just have the ref flag for taunting and write the guy`s name down and have the league issue a hefty fine.....the more epithets,the more penalties and fines...
if a guy wants to keep taunting and drawing 15 yard penalties(killing his team) and getting fines,it`s on him.....he`ll be vilified by his own fans and front office...and his wife(if it`s affecting his wallet)..
i agree with jack that it`s ridiculous...but if they feel like theres so much p.c. pressure on them to do something,be a little smart about it and make as small a footprint as possible...you don`t want peripheral stuff like this overwhelming the game....

I HEARD DAN ROONEY ON HIS OWN REQUESTED THE STEELER PLAYERS OUT OF RESPECT TO HIM TO QUIT USING THE WORD IN THE LOCKER ROOM. THE SELF IMPOSED BAN LASTED ABOUT 3 DAYS. :facepalm:

WE have reached Ludicrous stage of the N word. Why only them with all this backlash why are not other races speaking out about being defamed by thier harsh nick names? I'm sick of it as probably many of you are!
Partially i think it's because they have no name to call the white man. What they goona call me? Honky? Cracker? Greaseball? Diego? (not sure of spelling) NONE of those words irritate me at all!
BUT holy shit politician man if i so much as breathe that N word or even type it in here it's edited?
The word it self spoken out loud has no meaning? It was derived from the word Negro to classify the low class uneducated street thugs. I think thats what it really means. I have white people leving on my own street that are drug pushers and others that turn away from me when walking down the steet and New ones at other corner that are rude ignorant causing trouble already like you would not belive.
I came up with this sceneario. That they are going to push this shit too far and it will blow up in thier faces and put them back 40 years when they couldn't walk into my neighborhood nor could we walk in thiers!
