Well I have been watching one NFL team in particlular during the pre-season. And I mean every move during the pre season. I have associated the best players on this team.

The only thing is I dont know that much about the tendancys of the other team. Their tendancy to win I mean.

That for the wager to fall in place, several things had to happen. And them two things didnt happen.

I was ready to slam it down on opening day.

Its the only real release after a cold winter and no football wagering.

Well now its time. Now is the place. I see a really good chance to start out fast. Get that first win out of the way.

But then I said , wait a minute . I had the diciipline again this year not to wager on any pre season games. And now just because its the start of the season, you think you can win. Not sure about that part.

It is good for ones sanity. And better on the bankroll.

So I will wait out the first week and watch.

But I didnt say nothing about fawking Monday Night Football !

I intend to win at 80% again this year

When someone asks me .... Hey what is your favorite sport to wager on. And I say

Its college football . You can trust it more overall for the proper winning motivation. And that is important in cashing the ticket.

But the NFL is a close second. And then championship boxing. Then the Final Four
and NCAA tournament.

Oh yeh

I smell money and it smells green

It takes alot to win in the NFL.

Building confidence is important early in the season .

I had to laugh at Pavarotti with the shit eating grin on his face at .21

I think he means he will be showing how the
Italian Version of the song plays out.

Many years ago my Dad worked for a airlines.

He retired there after many years.

So he was working as a mechanic on Lear Jets

They got the word that a celebrity was coming into the airport. And that the plane would require immediate service to get it back repaired as fast as humanly possible with the least layover.

So I just happened to be in my Dads truck waiting for him to get off work. It was late at night.

So my Dad shakes me awake and he says

Listen James Brown is coming and landing. Do you want to see a really nice Lear Jet ?

I said yeh Dad. Sure thing. It was all he talked about is Lear jets. So I had big expectations.

So I am standing in a small crowd of people I did not know, intermingled with friends and family and some airline people to greet him I guess.

The door opens and James Brown comes walking down the stairs. He had a aura of some kind. I have seen it with alot of the great ones.
It might have been the full length mink coat

It was all I could do but gawk at that Lear jet he had. Man that thing was a wonder to behold.

But then my attention got back on James Brown

He had this guy that would comb his hair when he snapped his finger .
He was combing it as he was coming down the stairs.
Then another guy who carried a lighter and lit his cigarettes.

I said to myself. Now thats the life right there.

It gave me a appreciation about what it is to have things. Money & Material things. Aint that what this world is about ?

The problem is. These are the ties that bind.

4. Reduce the plays you make

5. Cash the ticket

This is the game I wanted to play

Atlanta Falcons vs Pitt Steelers

But then as IE posted first in here

Leftwich goes down.

If Leftwhich would have started I was all over a Falcon victory in this game. Atlanta playing kinda low key in pre season. They have all the guns in the arsenal.

Thought a strong play would be Falcons winning in first half wager.

So now its Dixon.

Dixon is a better QB than Lefty. He can run and pass.
Early interceptions by Dixon and his goose will be cooked.

Pitts has a good run game, a weak offensive line but it wont matter to Dixon because he is going to put it under his wing and run like a fawking rabbit. Hope Dunta Robinson will be ready to play since he has been sitting out all of pre season.

Pitt also has a good defense but the question is will they be able to stop Turner and company. Its very hard to tell in the first game.

It seems imposslibe to me that Dixon can overcome the rookie mistakes against a veteran Falcons team.

I don't care much for the impossible part of it.

I got to go check this line now.

I still have not looked at it.

They got to be favor Falcons.

It's possible Steelers coach Mike Tomlin might play 35-year-old Charlie Batch at quarterback in the opener against Atlanta, or in one of the other three games before Roethlisberger returns to face Cleveland on Oct. 17. Or Tomlin could choose the electric but erratic Dennis Dixon to play some or all of the four games. Whatever, Batch will report for practice today without an idea what the immediate future holds for him.

"I don't know anything,'' he said over the weekend. "But I've thought about what it would be like to have that chance. It would be wonderful. I grew up here, and I dreamed about being Mark Malone or Walter Abercrombie some day. I thank God every day I wake up a Steeler. I get to put the black and gold on every day. I'm living the dream.''

Batch last started a game on opening day 2006, with Roethlisberger out after an emergency appendectomy. He completed 15 of 25 passes that day, three for touchdowns in a 28-17 victory over the Dolphins. That made him 3-0 as a replacement starter for the Steelers over a two-year period, something Tomlin might consider in deciding whether to start Batch and bring in Dixon as a changeup pitcher. Or he could give the job to Dixon. Neither would be a surprise. But if it's Batch, it would be the football gods saying, "Son, you deserve this.''

revolving QB decisions are not good for team
unity.

Falcons should rock these clowns

The problem is I cant trust the Falcons as far as I can throw them

Matt Ryan played limited in pre season and threw like one touchdown. They had severe problems in the redzone moving the ball and the place kicker they have sucks.

Turner the burner is running harder, but he did nothing to show me he was going to dominate. The dude has huge thighs, but let him get hit one time in the legs by a safety and he drops like a rock

Roddy White has a tendancy to drop balls and he is the best WR the Falcons have. Jenkins is hurt and that leaves Harry Douglas and Weems . Have not proven to be big playmakers.

Falcons offensive line is OK but they cannot afford to lose any starters to injury.

The defensive line has improved and rookie LB Weatherspoon is a game breaker. They should be able to rush the QB better than last year and stop the run to a certain extent.

The secondary is up in the air. Dunta Robinson didnt play a down in pre season because of a hamstring injury. He is not exactly a shutdown corner in my book. The Falcons released Chavis Jackson which was a good move.

Kick returns are up to Weems and he hardly ever breaks off big returns.

The Falcons could play very well next Sunday or they could fall on their faces to a disrupted Steeler team.

I dont like to wager on games I am unsure about.

This qualifys.

wow Falcons just wow

Games to wager and win on in the NFL are not the ones that go into overtime and are won on the last play.

Just a few comments on the Falcons

Red zone offense was non existant.

Wide Receivers sucked hind tit

Turner the burner dropped like a rock whenever he was touched.

Matty Ice Ryan could not get a third down pass for a first down to save his life.

This field goal kicker Bryant has to go.

Dunta Robinson the new cornerback does not like to tackle much. And Hines Ward made him look like a bitch. And he is 40 yrs old.

Coaching of Falcons I rate a D-

Defense was said to be solid but I have to say they sucked smelly fish ass.

Other than that, great opening game for the Falcons

This tells me that what you see in pre season alot of times follows the team into the regular season
