NFL: 8-4 +18.48 units

Week 2:

CIN +1 +114 x4

This the NFL, forgetting about what happened last week often serves you well. The Bengals aim to record their eighth straight win against the AFC North and third straight against the Baltimore Ravens. Carson Palmer is 8-3 against the Ravens, recording 2,370 yards passing, 14 touchdowns and nine interceptions for an 87.6 passer rating. Cedric Benson has rushed for 100 yards in back-to-back games last season against the Ravens (120, 117). This is the Bengals only home game in the first four.

In six career games against the AFC North on the road, Joe Flacco has recorded seven touchdowns and three interceptions for an 88.9 passer rating. A conservative offense by the Ravens won?t get it done this week.

I'd like to add that Balty won outright as an underdog Monday night and now is posted as a road favorite the following Sunday. This situation is very rare but has been profitable going against the favorite in the past.

You really thought Balty had a conservative offense vs Jets?U have to respect Jets D but Balty TO's was what killed them.I think Balty offense will be fine.

I just think if they were conservative they wouldn't have been throwing in third and longs where it is an obvious blitz coming. They kept giving themselves a shot by passing not running and punting.

If revenge was ever a real factor, you could make a good case for the Ravens this week.

And they definitely aren't looking ahead to next week with the home opener and the Browns on deck.

I think they come to play :0008

BTW, the last 2 preseason games were on the road too. FWIW.

Ravens = Road warriors. Look it up :toast:

It's why I personally think Week 2 is one of the toughest weeks...
...sure, some teams had 'bad' days, but others (who we might just not expect) may just be plain bad.

Just stumbled over this:

Home teams who allowed 35+ points in wk. 1 are 2-15 ats last 17...0-5 as dogs. [In week 2 specifically that is.]

Good luck. :toast:

Mr. McCristo, I have to agree with you, week two is often a tough week. I know a couple of very good cappers in Vegas who take this week off, trying to be careful also.

eeeerock, by conservative, I meant the Ravens are expected to run alot, had nothing to do with the last game. This may not be true at all.

ATL -6.5 -102 x3

Atlanta has yet to score a touchdown, so I'm officially out of my mind. Second road game for Arizona. First, two time zones east, now three time zones for an early game. I don't trust Andersen, period. He got let go by the Browns of all places. Atlanta should be able to run and open up the passing. They need a win with the Saints on deck in a home opener.

that is what makes this the best (but not necessarily a winning) play this week...playing on the road on Monday nite then going on the road again the following week is about the tuffest situation in the nfl for the road team...Cinci losing last week adds fuel to this situation

The Giant had 4 turnovers and a ton of penalties Week 1. That should change this week. Giants have the better pass rush, better running game and overall defense.

Giants +4 -103 x3

Hoping for a broom today, good luck out there!
