Man...that's 3 now I've seen with confidence in the 'Skins...
I absolutely bow to your (all 3!) sports psycology, but I just don't see it.
Beat a questionable Denver, after allowing Orton more than 10y/pass in the first half...
...scored 10 points in the last 3 minutes to get up...
Dallas have struggled all season against top 10 (15 even!) D's, and got a girft 7 to get them on their way last week against an up and down Philli...
I see Saints have some injury problems, but still, not sure I see how Wash keep up...
Saints won their game of the century last week on Monday night. The are out of rhythm in terms of preparation and have to travel on short week. The Saints have their road game of the season next week on MNF in Atlanta. This has to hurt preparation for this week at least a little bit. This is the NFL, where the margin for error is slim. For the Saints, the margin of error in the passing game is almost none. Many of their completions are to covered receivers. At least 4 times this season, this timing b/w Brees and the receivers was not there.....@Buff, vs NYJets, @StLou and @Miami(for much of the game, anyway). These were 4 close games (at least closer than the score would indicate). There is no coincidence that this lack of offensive rhythm occurred thrice on the road out of 5 road games. Without defensive scores, the Saints lose to Miami and could have lost to the Bills, StLouis and Jets (just ask Weasel, he'll be glad to let you know how many defensive TDs the Saints put up on his J-E--T-S).
Also, I wore pants and a jacket for the first time since March 2 weeks ago. I've worn shorts almost everyday until last week. It just isn't very cold here. The high was 50 the other day and folks were freaking out around here. These guys are used to practicing and playing indoors or in temparate weather. I am no meteorologist, but I can guess that Washington this weekend will be uncomfortably cold for many of these players. I think this can affect the precision passing game even further.
Wash is hungry. Wash can run the ball against the Saints. Haynesworth is a force. Saints DB are still ailing. Crazier things have happened than Wash losing by 9 or less, or even winning this game.....
Just one man's opinion.
