I look up over to table (30 feet away) and they are all standing.

Ctown looks happy?

I look harder and he is smiling!

then I watch them put the gold bracelet on his wrist...

Ctown now off to room for well deserved rest.

the payment process didn't take too long. They had the payout official do the math on calculator, as they just pay winner his due and let players work out the details of private deals made. So Stuart had official figured out the difference and ctown got that paid in cash, then handed Stuart a very thick brick of $100 bills totaling $37k and some change.

Ctown said after he got that chip lead, Stuart just didn't seem to be able to keep up. Ctown got pot after pot, some by bluffing. Totally dominated him.

I reported some wrong details on the one that Stuart won. Ctown had low pair and Stuart's seven provided a pair for him.

but that one late win was just a tease!

Ctown said of final one he wasn't sure if he had the best hand, but why wouldn't he call Stuart's all-in? "If I lose, I still have plenty of chips, if I win, I have the bracelet."

so Ctown called, "good call" said Stuart, and Ctown said he realized at that moment he was getting bracelet.

"I watched hours of ESPN coverage of last years's WSOP", ctown said, "I thought it would sure be nice to have one of those bracelets, but when is that gonna happen, eh?"

I told ctown it's just his first and reminded him of WSOP event #44 starts tomorrow, another $1500 buy-in no limit hold'em. He just laughed.
