I'm simply pointing out that the President and his actions or lack thereof have absolutely NOTHING to do with the race relations in this country other than the fact he's black. That's it. It's absolutely absurd to say, think, print, or believe the racism has gotten worse or better because of the president.

That's like saying president Reagan made the country less gay because he didn't fund aids research and ignored the issue.

And the divide amongst the races will get better over time just as it has everywhere else once they stopped embracing it as our country does. America loves racism, our country was founded on it (see native American history), slavery, concentration camps for the Japanese, work until you die on the rails for the chinese, it's what we do best.

If you want to fix something you have to identify it first. You think Raymond is going to admit he's a racist? Or Gibber, or saint, Lowell, edludes, and the list goes on and on. If you want to fix the problem you'll most likely have to wait for that deep seated hatred to die off first.

The racial profiling that is clearly a worsening epidemic amongst police is an easier fix. Simply remove the standing assumption of innocence and hero worship.

I'm not trying to argue with you bro but please tell me exactly how he is going to enact change when the legislative body required to help him do that operates as a direct obstruction, even going so far as to have republican congressman freely admit that the GOP's sole direction was to vote against anything he tried to get passed? Seriously, he has tried to pass job bill after job bill, he can't even get them to do their job and approve a supreme court justice, they shut down government because they didn't want his budget? Please give me a single example or idea of anything he could possibly have done? Oh I don't know, speak out-educate, lead......Anyone pulled over, try doing A-B-C.....Doing X-Y-Z "probably is not a good idea"......If you feel the stop was unjustified do A-B-C....Do not do X-Y-Z.....on the flip side demand Respect from Law Enforcement, top to bottom, request respect from citizens.......Encourage anyone inside the ranks to speak up if they feel racism is alive within the ranks.....

But yes thank you for those.. I mean there are what thousands of arrests made in this country daily? Weekly? My point is that while I agree we do have too many police shootings in this country, I do not believe they are at epidemic levels as the justice warriors claim. And while there are a few terrible examples out there.. In most officer involved shootings the suspect is being non compliant with officers.
