Looks like the people I know are on vacation?

I'll be posting when I see any of them (new policy.. LOL). Actually, there were only 3 playable races today so it doesn't really matter. Card was nothing like it was the past 2 days.

I just got on and watched my SIDE bet (w/pl/sh@2x) win so I go home a wiener again today on account of that side bet's winning price ($15.60). Boy, it was a nice Philly style week. Oh, the other horse I had (in zactas) was the no. 1. Yeah.. that one got THIRD
Woldn't nailed a nice zacta too.

If anybody wants me to post the 9th, chime in. At this point I only have "leans" (6 and 9) i gotta see them before I bet anything.

Man, do they ever rush their races at Philly.

That no. 9 woulda won this race if it didn't have the BIG problems early on. I played the no. 9 with the 4 and 6 (ONE stinkin dollar cause I HATE giving ANY winnings back) and the no. 4 was a four-stinkin dollar side play. No big deal, that no. 9 in the 7th made the day. I believe that no. 4 (9th race) may win a race soon; it is coming back after a layoff and that one knows it's way around this track and is way OVERdue. Oh, it's name is Link Suances. BUT, I gotta watch the replay on that race cause I got a feeling Suances did much worser than I expected.

If they keep this rushing-the-races up to git the suckers into their casino, I'm gonna stop rushing to get to see the later races LIVE and that means I'm gonna be coming online AFTER the races are over. That could seriously impact my results cause watching them in the prerace is a big part of my capping. Even worser, when the weather gets tougher and IT WILL, thems gonna rush even faster cause there'll be nobody at the twack. You know, all keeping warm in the casino.. gettting "TOASTED".

Oh well.

Zlovll1, sure glad you made it through the dang peep hole. Really. In fact, I just gots your name on folks to share with here.

PEEPERS are one thing, but MOUCHERS are something else and they're here alright. I'll explain some day. I'll just add that I spend HOURS studying ANYthing I bet on. It only takes seconds to participate along. AND less than that to just sign up with this FREE forum.

It's a tough game and I wrote here about the years and years I've lost at this game... and thoroughly ENJOYED every bit of them. Getting through BOOT CAMP will probably cost ya. Just NEVER go overboard and get to the point where you like the game enough such that you CAN enjoy a race without having to bet on it. IF you can't do that, you're getting addicted :nono:

I get such a big kick out of reading something I once read on the internet a while back... the guy wrote,"I spent half of my life chasing chicks, drinking, and gambling... the other half I wasted".

I've been there myself.

I'm not a scheduled/routine kinda guy. Terrible with emails too. Liable to take a day or even a week off from here at any time. NO CELLPHONES attached to my ear.. LAST THING I NEED is that annoyance around my neck. LOL I think the monthy bills associated with those TOYS will eat you alive and eventually drive ya NUTS which is much worser. Even the no-contract deals are gonna cost ya for a leash that you don't need. Got along great with an answer machine and the Comcast telephone, TV, broadband services. Got along just great without any "Comcast's" for many years too.

Seriously, all I wrote up there is true. Well.... maybe cept that last line, that's questionable.

I got a new policy bout posting. Besides that, I didn't like today's card. Came up with only 3 races and wasn't that confident bout any of them. I did stop in here LATE afternoon to see who was here though.

IF ya played exactly what I did (few zactas and SIDE BETS in each of those 3 races) you woulda needed to have enough on that there "Furr" hoss in the 7th. I did have enough on that one to make the day quite worthwhile due to the decent payoff. You just never know how the day will turn out. My exacta hoss was the no. 1 (3rd) in that race who I had with the 6 (finished 2nd) as well. Had 2 others with the no. 1 also. Think I wound up doing better with the no. 9 as long as he won the race; and he did. .

I guess Hamster is working hard these days?

Watch for my BOWL picks once them things get rolling cause that Spreedsheet I use is usually very good with them Bowl games. Just like with the hosses though -> not looking to make a killing and can't make any promises. I do plan on going a bit heavy with maybe one or two two-teamers Bowl games during the course of the Bowl period. It depends on how the SHEET rates the plays.

HOPE to seeya on Sat. for some more wacin action. Stop in late afternoon or start a post so I know you'll be around cause I ain't posting a thing if I don't see somebody I "know" and that person could come from my previous threads as well. NO MO MOOCHERS (there's a TON of them out there and thems just may be able to kill a price at little ole Philly)
