Jack bailed out on me around 10:30 after we FINALLY caught a really shitty live version of Sweet Home Alabama at one of the Bourbon Street dives. The guy was on a fucking mission to experience live music on Bourbon Street but due to the crowd, that simply was not feasible tonight. Thankfully, after I ditched the Woodens, I found a real bar that would tolerate my shit for a while and now I am finally ready for bed.
I have been on several vacations with Jack and have had a great time every time but at this point I'm beginning to think that Gayle is more fun.

One of my kids is sick w/ flu-like symptoms as of yesterday. I woke up this morning feelling like balls. I cannot recall the last time I had fever. This is totally ridiculous. Good thing we are playing in the late game, because I have time to fix this mess. I have been guzzling fluids since I woke up and just sent my wife to locate some of those Agent recommended flu meds.
Health stores aren't open on Sunday, so I'm working it through it without the tree-hugger meds. Feeling better, but have bigtime butterflies in my stomach. Had this feeling 3 times before. The day I was married, and both LSU national title games.
The 1st 3 worked out well. Here's to 4 out of 4:toast:
Cie, if your crew is experiencing nausea, go to the grocery store and get some crystalized ginger or make some ginger tea. It's wonderful for nausea as well as motion sickness. Also, if the problem is at the other end, get some fiber supplement and take two or more doses daily rather than one. It will absorb the excess water in the gut, acting like sawdust on an oil spill. These are natural remedies and no health food store is needed.
