i read somewhere people were pissed b/c they didnt know it was a silent film and walked out

:lol: , yeah , that movie looks unwatchable to me
off topic, i did watch a movie that was black and white on netflix called "the following", it was chris nolan's first movie i believe, and despite its slow start , i stuck with it and thorougly enjoyed it

I thought it was great. Wife loved it too. I'd say it was the best movie I saw this year and better than most of the recent oscar winners. Different for sure. I don't like movies that are just original for the sake of being different, but this is one of a kind and still really entertaining. I think I might have been thrown off if I didnt know it was silent before. Best to know what you are getting into. The actor definately deserves an oscar - the methods of silent acting are really different. Almost like a lost art. Its amazing how complex and engrossing you can make a story without using words.
then give tree of life a shot :facepalm: ...j/k...fucking awful and dreadful.....
however I would recommend Shame....i think its the Boys lifestory
