I really did meet a guy in a printing office I go to for plans I use at work. He told me he won 5 K on Alabama and was on his way to Vegas to collect his money. He had a friend place the bet at a sportsbook . I didnt tell him what I had lost on Notre Dame.

Oh well college is over for the year.

I've never understood why people want to rip someone on a bet placed (won or lost). Like Lawrence said, you have nothing to apologize for. You had a very solid college football season. If I had bet this game I would have lost money as well (and everyone knows how big a Bama fan I am). Maybe deep down as a FAN I saw this coming, but that's why I rarely bet on my favorite teams. When you bet with your heart it usually costs you in the end. Truly thought this would be a close game going into the 4th quarter. I'm always happy to see you on the Tide but would never give you or anyone a hard time for placing a bet against them. You capped the game and bet as you saw fit.
