Wrong Wayno. The Catholics are either right to lifers or they're not. There is also something Jesus said about forgiveness that doesn't quite job jive with the death penalty.
If that was the case there wouldn't be any in law enforcement or miltary.
I am not an authority on Catholics--and a fence straddler on abortion--but certainly can equate diff of murderer and unborn child without any reservation.

As one who is still trying to sort out this Abortion stuff I get lost with the people who say they are against abortion except in the causes of rape or health of the mother. I understand the health of the mother part but I get lost as to why would they be in favor of abortion in the case of rape?
Were I a woman, I would not likely want to carry, deliver and raise the child of a monster who raped me. Were I her husband, I would likely feel the same way. Hell, I may even go Jack Ruby on the perp:shrug:

No doubt, but that's just it. For the holy rollers a life is supposedly a life is a llife. It isn't that unborn babies fault that the lady was raped any more than it's the unborn babys fault that a teenage girl accidentally gets knocked up.

I already said I was fence straddler on abortion once in this thread and feelings have not changed since years back on what I post on issue--but here it is again
Personally I am against abortion--but I don't have to carry it nor would I be subjected to the mental aspect of rape-incest etc.
So feel my opinion would be 2ndary to those packing the load--that is between them and their consience.

I think that parents should have to be notified if the girl involved is under 18. The parent(s) should have to provide written 'permission.'
