But don't you understand...they can't play with teams like, let's say, Texas. No way, man.

Time,

I think he was being sarcastic. Yup, no way they could play with Texas(who lost to T.Tech, who lost by 24 to OSU) or Oklahoma(who lost to a bad A&M team) or Washington St. (who OSU beat by 18) or Georgia(who lost to a HORRID Florida team). They can't play with anybody in the top 18 or so, let the morons tell it.

Thank God, it looks like the BCS will work this year. The best two teams competing for the title at the end(even though Miami's strength of schedule is in the low40's and OSU's is in the low 20's). I still think Miami has a chance.

TCSN,

If by 'exposed', you mean lose, then I suppose every team (except sometimes one) gets 'exposed' every year. Personally, I would rather get 'exposed' in the National Title game rather than say, at Ole Miss, or by 29 points at home against LSU. Now that I think about it, if a loss has to occur, what better place than the title game? Wouldn't you agree?

I remember the 'no offense, all defense' VS. the incredibly unbelievable juggernaut, game a few years ago. We all remember what happened in the Oklahoma-Florida St. game, don't we?

I remember what happened as I had Oklahoma but big deal someone makes it to the title game. It is about winning titles not getting there & losing.

I wouldn't even think title game now as Michigan is calling.

I run my fathers Shop! Not a dealership Service manager............just a way to make our business and me look a little more important by giving myself a nice title! But I guess it does sound better than "Dick who tells all the mechanics in my shop to get back to work before I fire your ass and send you home with no pay and sell your tools before you get a chance to pack em up and find another job bosses kid!

But for real.........I run my fathers Automatic Transmission Shop in Alabama!

Bluemound,

Don't tell anybody I think so, but you're probably right.

TCSN,

Your nonsense about how it's not possible to have a great season if you don't win a national championship is ignorant.

For instance, would you rather be in Ohio States position this year, or Florida's?

Would you rather that Florida got to the championship game, even if they lost, or was the 25 point ass-whipping that Miami laid on Florida at 'The Little Creek' good enough for you?

In my arguements I never compared Florida to Ohio State. I can't imagine how people would brag about getting to the title game eventhough they'd lost assuming that is how it went down.

How can you call losing the title game a great season? It is the dream of coaches, players, etc to win the overall title so you're damn right I wouldn't call a season a success if a team got there & then lost. No offense but I find that to be idiotic.

If Florida made it to the title game & they lost I wouldn't say it was a sucessful season, the biggest goal wasn't accomplished.

Ask players from Florida State, Nebraska, etc if they thought they had a successful season after failing to win the title. If they told you yes you would know they were full of shit.

Kosar- You still don't get it. Only ONE team has a successful season each year. That's it. Uno.
