IT was a great game... especially since the NYY lost.

What was up with those bugs those....that shit was crazy. I thought they were nesting on Joba's neck. :scared

The 50 % category is an easy concept for a Ravens fan to understand. They win about 50% of the time and lose about 50% of the time.

yeah, i'm old. i do not remember getting you a chargers hat but i've lost so many of those bets it's no wonder.

i didn't realize you bet the yanks until i just found out but you know i wasn't making fun of that.

night bro.

that was a great series. i remember watching every inning of every game with my dad. i thought he was old then and he was younger than i am now. wow. the memories.

Was at the game last night and it was really wild there last night. AROD shriveling, The crowds chant of "YANKEES SUCK" to go along with Joba's bug attraction was awesome. Listening to the radio call in show on the drive home, a so called specialist on bugs called in and was saying all the stuff they were spraying on Joba was actually attracting the midges or nats to him rather than repelling them. And they really coated that guy with the spray! :SIB

Never understood how people can LOVE a 2-1 baseball game because it's a pitcher's duel but hate a soccer game because it's low scoring...

ndnfan good to see you around and congrats on your tribe

dawgball- i don't mind world cup soccer or international soccer, but i'd about die before watching an mls game. i guess in baseball theres always someone batting with a chance to do something and theres stuff going on the bases. I don't mind soccer where there are shots on goal and good saves. I probably wouldn't even mind a 1-0 game if there was some offensive opportunities. But soccer games where they just putz the ball around mid pitch (always wanted to sound cool and use that term) is boring to me. Too many soccer games they just don't shoot. Theres too many players on the field in my opinion. Just like in hockey. For me, I don't care what the score is as long as their are opportunites to score. But thats just me. And as for games ending in a tie.....I'll never be a fan of that.

I will regretfully agree with you that MLS is currently not a great sport to watch. Other than tradition, I'm not sure why they don't do shoot-outs in regular season games.

On a sidenote, I had a flash of complete awe that you used the word "pitch" in mid-sentence until immediately reading your addition. Nice work! :mj07:
