It's not it doesn't stick it that his base doesn't care-did you miss the cold cash-marion barry-barny-kennedy etc note.

They are all in your intellectual mode--I can pull up numerous post of you dogging GW on suspected cocaine abuse but not a peep on 0.
So it is a given your objectivity goes along party lines not deeds.

Rumor has it Soros made bet with king Abdullah of Saudi Arabia on 1-1-04 (month after capture of Hussein (Saddam) and Hussein (Barrack) was unknown- for sizable sum on how much control he had over his liberal lemmings.

The stories goes he would wager if odds were right--that he could by virtue of media and money dupe his base into voting for man with Muslim name (including Hussein) who was raised in dysfunctional back round with assiciations of radicals-terrorist and mafia--with 0 qualification or experience and get him elected pres of U.S. by 2012. King said no way--soros said -yes we can-smiled and wrote those three words on paper and stuck it his pocket. ;)

I don't know who is in worse mental shape you or GW. You better re-read your post again and then seek profesional help.
Wow!

I always considered DTB and GW to be the intellectual leaders of the moronic neo base. I now realize how fundamentally addled and deficient they are.

The prospect of a democratic president, black at that, has really put them on tilt. I'm a little concerned, frankly.

Well, Wayne should be ok, living it up in communist China, but Weasie? Man. :sadwave:

To be honest he handled the questions really well. He explained his answers. I would love to see Palin try to handle those 'difficult questions;

Black You voted for a person and don't even know his family history or lack thereof.

too late for his socialistic views to hurt me--I'm O/liberal proof--
you- my friend-are prime candidate to pay the piper--as it comes downs I will not say I told you so --a simple "yes you did" will suffice- :)

He hasn't cheated on his wife that we know of. Has a normal home life.

You see Wayne, family values mean a lot to me when it comes to the presidency.

His extended family? Why would I care?

Bubba grew up in a broken home and he did ok.

Bush 43 grew up in a rich, prominent family and we see that that has worked out.

Not a real big issue for me.

Like I said in another thread, paying another few bucks in taxes means nothing to me if it means getting off this absurd path we're on.

I guess someone, everyone will have to pay the piper for this crazy spending of the last 8 years.

This is what I don't get-you're worried about total hypotheticals while never commenting on the *CURRENT* economic condition of this country.

Open your eyes. Bush already ruined the country. The best the next guy can do will be to try to put it back together. But 8 years of Bush have led to this.

Great post, Scott!

Don't you know you're talking about a revolution
It sounds like a whisper
Don't you know they're talking about a revolution
It sounds like a whisper

While they're standing in the welfare lines
Crying at the doorsteps of those armies of salvation
Wasting time in unemployment lines
Sitting around waiting for a promotion

Don't you know you're talking about a revolution
It sounds like a whisper

Poor people are gonna rise up
And get their share
Poor people are gonna rise up
And take what's theirs

Don't you know you better run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run
Oh I said you better run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run

Finally the tables are starting to turn
Talking about a revolution
Finally the tables are starting to turn
Talking about a revolution oh no
Talking about a revolution oh no

While they're standing in the welfare lines
Crying at the doorsteps of those armies of salvation
Wasting time in unemployment lines
Sitting around waiting for a promotion

Don't you know you're talking about a revolution
It sounds like a whisper

And finally the tables are starting to turn
Talking about a revolution
Finally the tables are starting to turn
Talking about a revolution oh no
Talking about a revolution oh no
Talking about a revolution oh no

OK Matt correct me if I'm wrong---after reading above twice-- and only pro Obama attributes you came up with is he hasn't cheated on his wife and leads normal life.

strange attributes to mention from former Clinton supporter--those aren't political glass your looking through? :)

on normal life--I see anything but normal--especially from Pres candidate--
Normal childhood?
Normal for students to spend their breaks in muslim countries with muslim room mates
Normal politcal associates.

--on crazy spending -the biggest expenses were
War-911-worldcom/enron-katrina
which do you think he should not have funded?

I will agree with you they did go overboard on spending but my area of complaint is non discretional spending--Medicare RX benefits--huge mistake--increased aid to Africa and other countries that vote against us--another mistake.

--however most of the earmark spending came from all the packages they had to allow Dems to add to get enough votes on troop funding bills.

back to topic--More on O and press

Obama Shuns Press Conferences, Sits With 'EXTRA!'s' Mario Lopez
October 26, 2008 6:56 PM

On Oct. 24, 2007, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., said that as president he would hold regular press conferences and "not just call on my four favorite reporters."

But the Democratic presidential nominee hasn't held a full press conference -- submitting himself to more than a handful of questions from his whole press corps -- in more than a month, since Sept. 24, 2008, in Clearwater, Fla.

Well, no.

I'm just trying to address your theme of family values and all that and how important it is to you.

I mentioned before that I think Bubba's family values are lacking.

For the 15th time, what do you think about McCain's family values?

I think I said something like 'normal home life.' I agree, he has had a pretty colorful (no pun intended) life in general.

Sometimes people like that have a bit of perspective and nuance and greater appreciation for the world as a whole that people that you admire (silver spoons) might lack.

Who knows?
