As the total continues to fall I am becoming more enamored with the over.
I am a huge Broncos fan and my opions on the winner may be a bit skewed (I have them in 4 teasers still alive and believe they win, but cover, I just don't know), but the total has no bias.
The weather for tonights game calls for diminished winds (non factor), but COLD temps. Should be in the 30's at gametime.
Denver over the years and this year as well are a poor tackling team. They are great at stopping the run with the 2 behemoths in the middle, and I believe the Raider's know they will not be able to run against them. Therefore they will go back to what was successful for them in the early part of the season with the short dump off passes to their reciever and Garner out of the backfield and make Denver try to tackle them. I feel the Raiders get at least 17-20 points tonight.
Denver has found a Gem in Ashley Lelie and with Sharpe used as a weapon finally, their offense may be what carries them the rest of the way (unless Griese goes colorblind like he was last year and throws as many completions to the other team as his own).
You all know about the bad blood between Shanny and Al and Shanny saves his best stuff for the Raiders, so I feel they go for the jugular early and often and score about 30 tonight. With all the hype of the 500th MNF game and the Broncos last 2 Prime time games (one which ALL THE BREAKS went Miami's way---the other a pure debacle), Shanny wants his team to shine tonight.
A win for the Broncos almost certainly knocks the Raiders out of the playoffs so they will have their backs against the wall and put forth the best game they can and they are not looking ahead to NE next week, cuz if they lose this week, they are DONE.
Sorry so winded, but like to contribute when I can and that is usually when either the Broncos or Hurricanes are playing.
If I had to guess, I would say Denver 31-24
