So disappointing to be a Cowboy fan. I need to take some time off. They ruin my day!
So Monte Kiffin is an upgrade from Ryan. What a mess!
Until the dumbass owner fires himself this is the way it's gonna be!!!!

Sooo many Cowboy haters!! I AM a Cowboy fan and first person to dislike Romo more than any non Cowboy fan. He has let us down on way too many occasions and beyond frustrating!!
When he plays well...not a peep from anyone! At least give the guy his credit when it is due. He played very well today once again- and he played great in the Giants game. Will he likely blow up sometime down the road later in the season- unfortunately- but for now- he is playing good football and deserves a little credit. He is not turning over the ball like years in the past. Tons of NFL players/announcers give credit a ton more credit and respect than fans/bettors....but until he proves he can win big games (4th quarter drive last week against Giants was great) in December and when it counts is when he will get the credit- which is totally fair because he needs to prove it then to everyone.
Like I mentioned last week- There are TONS of problems with Dallas- not consistent on offense, gets off to slow starts and no true identity. From the offense side of things- they really took the time during bye week to evaluate what they do well and what they do poorly, and focus offense on what they do well. JG is also helping with calling offensive plays into Romo. So far thru two weeks- it is paying off- They are moving Dez around, utilizing Witten more, using Dunbar who is now healthy, getting good O-line play, Getting the ball in key spots to Beasley and mixing run/pass with Murray.
As far as Defense- they are creating a ton of turnovers with Kiffen & Marinelli which they DIDNT DO WITH RYAN! I liked Ryan- but the 3-4 wasn't working and Ware has no business covering Backs or TE's in space- he needs to rush the pass! Every team has injuries- but last 2 years Dallas has been DECIMATED on D!! Not having sean Lee a pro bowl D Captain is a massive loss. During their Bye week- they realized the corners need to get out of zone and play more man to man- which suits Claiborne, Scandrick and Carr much better- it is working- Oakland in beginning of the game had tons of great pass/catch which is hard to defend. Dallas is and has been hurt by run game up the middle- Did a good job today- but wont be any good until Lee comes back
Bottom line- they are still not a great team by any stretch and will most likely exit playoffs early....hopefully not...but they need more D line help. Loosing Spencer, Crawford, Ratliff is tough and whne you rotate 14 guys off the street- you cant expect much. Just like every other team- they had a few games they should have won and let get away (Det.Den,KC) and record could be much better than it is....but you are only as good as your record. The Detroit game was a debacle and should 110% have 1 more win in win column for sure.
Sorry for rant- but lets give the Cowboys a little credit when it is due- Yes, they only played the Raiders today who are not good- but when you look at what they are doing after bye week- I am encouraged as a fan. I will take the Win today and hopefully they can mentally get it together last 4-5 games of the season- as they will need it to earn a playoff birth- but I like what I am seeing....
Good write up but I'm still not very excited with what I see and they will make an early exit if and when they get to the playoffs. They rarely put a total game effort together and are not a good team. I am a fan but can't stand Jones and the lack of discipline and effort at times.
Good luck
Hope we beat the bears and skins on the road. GB, who knows? If Rogers plays, it could be trouble. Eagles will be tough too. I probably won't be betting on em anymore. Too much heartache. Luckily I bought to 7 and teased to .5 but totals friggin killed me today.
