just like when he talked about local yocals clinging to their guns and religion, spreading the wealth, and his response in a debate with alan keyes (which has shocking been removed from the internet) when he said not being born in the us didnt mantter because he wasnt going to run for president.

lets put all his private comments on the table.

BTW was watching this character Ryan the other night. What a phony hunk of shit this guy is. That was some impressive list Obama had to say about him. Now Ryan is just like DTB. Very worried about spending. Where are the teabaggers regarding this clown Ryan?

From what I see here an numerous other discussions on the internet, this appears to be just an internet rumor. Never heard of it before now though.

never heard it was a rumor until now.....although i do find it intersting that the debate was in 05 and the it was denied and becasme a "rumor" in 2010.

the guy was born in hawaii...but i still say there's something on his birth cert that he's not intersted in getting out, otherwise why spend so much time and legal money keeping the original birth cert. kept out of public view???

no one has the right to see another persons birth certificate unless they want them to.

This is the big lie. Obama hasnt spent millions keeping his birth cert hidden. :142smilie

Show some proof that Obama has spent a million dollars on hiding it. He dont have to hide it as they will not provide it without his persmission. That dont cost no money dumb ass.

I am sure the Adm is having a good laugh
about the neocons dumb ass efforts to waste so much time on this.

Obama doesn't come forward with this becuse his administration has a good laugh behind close doors pertaining to this subject. Nothing different from the days Bush, Cheney , and Rove got a kick out of the religious nuts that always supported them while they were shoving it up their asses.

I have not followed the whole Obama orgin thingie - wasn't his mom an American citizen anyway? Would that not make him an American citizen regardless of where he was born?

He does not show his birth cert because he does not need to and it puts a lot of attention on a ridiculous argument and keeps people for talking about the real issues. Why would he show it when he can keep the dog and pony show going on some more - and show the American people what a bunch of nutjobs are running against him? He prob loves it everytime it is brought up.

It's true, that would make him a U.S. citizen but in one of the Articles of the Constitution, it states you must be a "natural born U.S. citizen" to hold the office of President. This is why birthers "could" have come out of the wordwork if McCain had been elected as well, since he was born in the Panama Canal Zone. They could have come out of the woodwork in 1964 as well if Goldwater had been elected, since he was born in Arizona before it was granted statehood.

Certificate of live birth

The Obama team and the state of Hawaii released a certification of live birth, which documents the president?s birth on August 4, 1961, in Honolulu. This is not the original birth certificate. In Hawaii and other states, original birth certificates are not released when requested later.

CNN has seen a copy of the document and verified that it is official.

The certificate, officials say, allows a person born in Hawaii to get a driver's license, purchase land and obtain a U.S. passport.

What about the signature?

The so-called ?birthers? say there's no signature or raised seal on the live birth certificate. But the group FactCheck.org, which viewed the original document, took a picture of the back of it and found there is a stamped signature and a raised seal.

Where?s the original birth certificate?

Dr. Chiyome Fukino, the former director of Hawaii's Department of Health, says she has personally viewed the president's original vital records and verified that he was born in Hawaii.

Former Hawaii Gov. Linda Lingle, a Republican, has been quoted as saying, "I had my health director, who is a physician by background, go personally view the birth certificate in the birth records at the Department of Health. We issued a news release at the time saying the president was, in fact, born at Kapi'olani Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii. And that is just a fact."

Newspaper birth announcement

The announcement of Obama's birth appeared in the Honolulu Advertiser on August 13, 1961, and a day later in the Honolulu Star-Bulletin: ?Mr. And Mrs. Barack H. Obama, 6085 Kalanianaole Hwy., son, Aug. 4.?

Health Department spokeswoman Janice Okubo told the Star-Advertiser in July 2009 that vital statistics such as birth announcements were sent to the newspapers by the Health Department, which received the information from the hospital. These announcements were not sent in by the general public, Okubu said.

Current governor weighs in

Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie, a Democrat, was a close friend of the Obamas and has repeatedly said he was around during the future president?s birth and childhood.

What about his grandma?s claims?

Trump makes the claim that Obama's stepgrandmother in Kenya, Sarah Obama, said in an interview that he was born in Kenya. But the interview was done by a man characterized as a ?street preacher? through a translator and there appears to be confusion over her answer.

The translator then came back and said Sarah Obama was saying that Barack Obama was born in Hawaii.
.............................................................

GOP right wingers. Just keep this line up and the abortion thing and Obama gets another 4 years.

GO OBAMA !

A couple of years ago these same birthers were tripping over themselves trying to get Arnold to run

The ultimate irony is that many of these birthers were in fact McCain supporters. The reason I said the birthers "could" have come out of the woodwork if McCain had been elected, is because I don't believe the majority of the birther crowd are constitutional absolutists, they're just garden variety Obama detractors.
