Privatize profits - Socialize debt.

Why should we take only the bad & not the good that can come from it.

I thought you said earlier that you would support the president no matter who it ends up being. Are you going back on that statement?

of course i will support him but if you look at my previous posts i said that i will criticize him if i think it warrants it.....and i don't believe in enabling people....

being that i'm in sales mgmt, i think my company should adopt obismal's philosophy. i should let me reps/obismal supporters know that we will split sales evenly each month since "taxing the rich and spreading the wealth is good for everybody"

Can't imagine my life so consumed on how i can make that next dollar that it dictates my entire life. So funny how people in this country's self worth seems to revolve around how much money is in their bank account. So happy i wasn't born with that gene. DTB you are gonna have a tough time bringing it all with ya.

Not sure who you are talking about but i give to people and receive nothing from anyone. You ought to try it once or twice in your life. Makes the heart feel good. One time i went down town Philly during Christmas season with a fist full of twenties. Tossed them out to some bums on grates. Was i an enabler? Sure but it felt good to know i hooked a few of them up for some Christmas juice. I could just send money to Red Cross but then i would probably be sending my money to some guy making two million a year who runs the show. The real lazy guys. I don't have to be the riches guy in the cemetary.

Y'all talk like the rich won't be rich anymore. Do not fret over their wealth. It will remain strong and they will still hoard more than their fair share. It's all good. Obama just feels it's not so bad to help out the lesser folks - and it can in fact make the country stronger. ....Is it really all that bad?

what will be my incentive to work hard?...invent?....to be an entrepreneur?...

I used the pic of Jack at the WSOP as my avatar for the duration of the Card-Cowboys game for good luck (which worked nicely, thank you)....and I thought it mocked Jack appropriately for all the dumb bets he's been making with forum.

Jack was in no mood, so he put a pic of me up there. Naturally, Bobby snagged that thing as soon at it became available.
