For all the guys who keep ripping Obama and his message of change, do you honestly think he's going to stay the course of Bush? If you don't, doesn't that mean he is going to bring change?

I hate to bring logic into the argument/accusation, but I don't get the BS arguments challenging the fact that he represents change.

You should know better by now. A certain 'element' will not accept this and you will get flak.

Seriously, it's a joke. I come to this forum and read post after post about all the bad things Obama is going to do, then the same guys post that he isn't a change agent....it is hard to watch people make fools of themselves and not get called out on it.

GM to the extent you were referring to me my only point earlier today about Obama and "change" si the running of the campaign. He is the one that said to stop attacking people and he wouldnt be part of it. Then he gets Biden to play attack dog...then attacks McCain for a big chunk of his convention speech. Today was a very good dayt for him, though his pundits arent following his advice.

After hearing all the hype/political promises from Obama and Hiliary during campaign on how their going to make everyones life better--and O reiterating it again now--one need only to look t facts vs the hype----to see how they have faired on similiar promises previously---
--as they say-the proof is in the pudding

The Census Bureau measured domestic migration - people moving within the United States - from 1990 to 2000, and from 2000 to 2004. The report provides the number of people moving into and out of each state and the 25 largest metropolitan areas.

The states that attracted the most new residents: Florida, Arizona and Nevada. The states that lost the most: New York, California and Illinois.

Among the 25 largest metropolitan areas, 18 had more people move out than move in from 2000 to 2004. New York, Los Angeles and Chicago - the three biggest metropolitan areas - lost the most residents to domestic moves. The New York metropolitan area had a net loss of more than 210,000 residents a year from 2000 to 2004.

Can anyone tell me where you move when he/they control entire country--:SIB

Most of those people that have relocated are probably chasing their old high paying job that was sent overseas during the past 8 years while nobody in Washington gives a rat's ass. :142smilie

I still haven't figured out what the point of this thread is, but I think it has something to do with the Trilateral Commission.

I just found some figures on the relative income and education levels of the citizens of Bowling Green, KY. Apparently people from there are poor and uneducated. As soon as I find the OBama correlate I will post the data.

Warren County?s population continues to rank fifth in the state, with the number of residents now estimated at 104,023, according to U.S. Census Bureau statistics released today.

Warren County?s population grew by 12.4 percent from 92,522 in April 2000.

I'd think he be more likely to follow the course of Clinton.
Especially in fighting terror-both favored retreat when going got rough.

eg You can ignore being attacked in 98 and wait 3 years till they get it right.

-or you can respond and have them on the run and getting their ass kicked in countries that were once their sancuaries, for what--7 years now.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
He's been adamant about letting GW tax cuts expire (everyone paying taxes got reduction) and then procaims he's going to give 95% of American tax cut-- explain please
++++++++++++++++++++++++++
"Democrat Barack Obama said today he wants to double foreign aid to $50 billion by 2012, and focus on helping "the world's weakest states" improve health, education and business opportunities. In return, he would ask those countries to build democratic institutions, honest police forces and a free press."

Yep thats a change--wonder who it will be directed to--
Hint--they will be singing "we are family"
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
-and his solution to fixing current social programs in turmoil-- add another bigger than the rest.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Bottom line he has to play to his base--we all know what that tune is.
