Sun, I would feel alot better if Baylor had any kind of running game. The agro pass defense sucks, but since they don't have to defense the run, their linebackers will provide better D on short passes. The agros will run, and chew chew c(l)ock.

Any insight on the NU-OSU game? I think the difference will be Mo Purify having a hayday in that awful secondary. By the way congrats to your Horns, another hard fought battle. I only wish Colt would have had to drive them further, which I think he would have. That kid is a special player.

i'm leaning towards baylor also but am a little leary of baylor's run defense...they let kan run all over them last week & a&m has a bettter running attack. i'm sure you took that into consideration. what do you think of a & m's qb ? can he beat a team if they stack the line ?

AM will probably be able to run the ball. They wont be able to throw much. And I dont think the Aggie defense will stop Baylor at all.

I dont put too much into the Kansas-Baylor game except that Baylor has to be feeling good. It was a classic sandwich for them - in between Texas and AM. This is Baylor's Super Bowl. Beat AM 2 years ago. Choked away a win st Dead Dog Field Last Year.

It aint a lock, nothing is, but I am confident.

You THINK that A&M will be able to run the ball :mj07:
Cornish ran for almost 10 yards a clip on 24 rushing atttempts and now they face one of the best rushing teams in the nation. Baylor made him look like Jim Brown. Mcghee, Lane, Lewis, and Goodson will have a field day on Baylor. I just dont see any value in playing a team that has given up over 110 points the last 2 games and couldnt stop the run with over 16 players on the field. They needed 3 tds in the 4th qtr to beat Kansas AT HOME. Now granted they play the worst 1 loss team in the nation in A&M but Baylor is absolutely awful; A&M let OSU 2nd qb score at will and had no business winning that game. If anything the over is a good play because neither team will be able to stop each other but betting on Baylor is just not a profitable idea IMO

Dont worry about it Thor. BBk is a perpetual prick that has never added anything useful to this site. Doesnt take long to check his post history to confirm that. He doesnt post plays and has had some fascination about me for awhile now.

Bottom line I have been a bit snakebit with some teams folding late but it hasnt been a good season. People can fade if they want. They can bash if they want. They can follow if they want. I am sure if I lose I will get plenty of guys bashing that say nothing before the game. But I will get plenty of kudos to if it wins.

The thread has 1800 hits without even having GOY in the title....probably speaks for itself. One punk isnt going to bother me. Losing will bother me.
