GOOD LUCK, SUN!

I'm not sure if it will make you feel any better, but I like Baylor a lot this week as well.

Hope it hits for you, man.

GL this weekend. I am glad you are on Baylor, since I have a strong early lean there.

Hey Sun-
Any insight. I crunched the numbers and am having a hard time rationalizing it. Seems like Mizzou is a stronger play in the 12 this wee. Lets talk about this one.

More clearly

More clearly

In light of the Neb/Texas dialogue last week, my point by wanting to discuss is that I think Baylor has a shitload of potential from a capping standpoint this week.

I havent placed a bet for or against Baylor all year and was wondering if theyre the type of team that can step up at home and at night and cover this spread. You seem to have the Big 12 knowledge to know this. Looking forward to discussing.

Not flaming, but since you have your GOY against my boys this week I went to check your ATS record in Big 12 Conference games. 5-8 ATS, maybe you should stop fading my Ags

Hasnt been my best Big 12 year by far. Probably my worst ever that i can recall. Downright disappointing, although I have a hit a couple of the bigger plays.

But I had Tech v AM - a win, AM v Mizzou, a win, Army v AM- a win, and Okie State v AM, a loss. AM games havent been my problem. And the fact is they may be the worst major conference 7-1 team in at least 10 years.

Since I have done this on different sites I have only lost my Big 12 GOY once, and that was going against the Horns in Lubbock 2 years ago. And it lost badly. Went against "your ags" last year and it won easily. That and a quarter still isnt enough for a cup of coffee. Folks can play or fade. Wont hurt my feelings or effect me either way. But sicne you are calling them "my ags" I am sure you are being real objective about it all and have the best of intentions coming in and dogging me on my own thread. or maybe we can look at your record and discuss your analysis...oh..wait...you havent posted any games have you?

Said I wasn't flaming just stating your record bc I was curious since you had your GOY against my team. Unfortunately I think Baylor is the right side too.

Sun....what's your take on TTech this week?? They come up STRONG with me!! I feel that's just way too many points here......I see Tech definetly passing on TX. You don't run on TX so far this season, but they are definetely vulnerable in the pass defense department which as we all know is Tech's bread and butter! I can't believe that line is 12-13......I'm on it!!

Tough call. I thought the line might be a bit bigger and would ahve thought long and hard at 14+. This just isnt the same Tech team. And the Horns have them figured out....the last 2 years have been very ugly for Tech. Folks last year on here all loved a much better Tech plus big points and I said no way, and we saw the score.

Horns know this is the last real test to winning the conference so not a letdown situation. But the Horns are hurting on D. The pass D is better than the numbers, but the Horns may well be missing not just Lokey, but also Killibrew, Robison, and Brown.

I really dont see Tech stoppping Texas on offense - only Greg Davis can do that. If you really think Tech is going to show - which frankly they only have in the Iowa State game - then the OVer is probably teh safer play. Harrell is a turnover machine against any sort of defense.

While not a gimme, I have very little doubt Texas wins the game. While Tech can cover of course and lose, it obviously narrows the scope of things. If I played the game I would play over. If I had to take a side gun to head I take Tech but could argue either way, which of course means pass.

I've been following this Tech team this year and if Texas generates any kind of pass rush its good night Tech.......I too thought this line would of been higher and since its not, it makes me wonder......Harrell is still young and developing as hes only a soph.....when he has struggled, it has been REALLY bad.....against stiff competition this year, Tech has struggled.....better games on the board

Yep. Once Lokey went out Texas lost the rush against Nebraska. But I expect a blitzfest on Harrell. And the Tech line has had significant protection issues.

The line is a bit confusing to me. Lots of Texas injuries but I don think that is it. Tech at home is laways an attractive dog, and I would think would get lots of action.

I'm convinced also that Tech came into the Mizzou game over confident and thought they were gonna, just walk thru the motions and come out with a victory and before they knew it were down 21-0........That is my only reasoning behind the total meltdown at colorado.....

They righted the ship with Iowa St, but still let up 26 pts.... It'll be interesting to see how they perform in a TRUE dog role.....this years team seems more suited to be played as a dog, I mean they got the recievers in Fliani, Johnson(when hes not in the doghouse), Hicks(whos been MIA), Amendola....and lots of young depth............but the bottom line is the D couldnt stop Fla Atlantic

Thanks Sun...great info as always! I'm still stick'n with Tech here at home though. I'm sure Leach knows exactly what TX wants to do on defense and I have faith he'll come up with a gameplan to hopefully slow the pass D and get his passing game going for his young QB.....like you said also TX has some key injuries on defense that could play a factor. They barely squeaked by Nebraska last week...just don't see them coming into TTech and covering double digits....GL!
