Jack, I am not trying to get banned or start a "run on the bank". I realize that this site depends a good deal on internet gaming and sponsorship. However, I have always looked to this site for honest information. I have been getting questions from friends regarding the recent arrest of the bet --------- executive and that company's subsequent shutdown. My local books are using this to their advantage and are talking it up (spreading fear) in hopes to regain their share of the market they have lost to the offshores.
Do you guys, or anyone else out there, have an educated opinion as to any long term or trickle down effect of the arrest etc. I realize that if the owners never set foot in the USA then there is not much that can be done. The WTO seems to be saying "leave well enough alone." This is a step back from the WTO's previous position that the US should back down on internet sports gambling.
Is there any reason to worry about the security of money placed in the offshore accounts?
