I sell boots.

From 1972 thru 1981 I had two retail stores in the Detroit burbs. In one store we sold mainly Italian men's and women's shoes, pretty high end. Very tuff business at the time. Did some private label stuff, always made money there, just the mark downs killed me. Eventually sold both stores and have been out of the business ever since.

So are they western style? How about a motor cycle type, like a black harley look?
Look, it's kind of a sore subject for me. I'm not very good at it and it makes me jealous, bitter, and someti9mes even immature ....especially when talking to people on the internet. I come from a long line of boot cobblers, but the great legacy seems to be ending with me. :violin:

Can I just say that Smurphy didn't insult anyone and I can see why he was asking. I also understand that if an image is not previously posted on an internet site or whatever I don't know how to post the sumbitch either. But I do know one thing for sure.

Smurphy,
I am having a large get together next month and was wondering what it might cost for say two tins of Blueberry, and three of apple..................cobblers of course, would be?

Hope this helps.

FatD, Thanks for your support. ...I will check into those cost and availability of those items. Off hand I'd say the apple is no problem, but blueberries are a premium seasonal item so I can't speculate without some research.

Didn't you get the memo? "Cartographer" is not what we want to be called anymore. We are now "Navigation Stylists". ..Sheesh, "cartographer" is so 2005.

Scott, I'm sure I'm not the only one around here having trouble making that precise connection.

....And where the hell are my pennies??!!!

smurph

it seems exciting job

do you ever get to go to the places you map out ?

Like your mapping a huge mountain, and you go to that mountain to make sure your mapping is exact ?

Not quite. Sometimes I'll drive across town to see if a freeway onramp is open or the progress of a new subdivision. Not much adventure in that.

I'm not on the cutting edge and am losing ground to cheaper competition. Making some serious changes. Perhaps I'll look into some Detroit opportunities and call upon the resources of The Boys.:SIB
