give ohio state the ball at midfield?
..... or back at their own 8 yard line?
seems like a no-brainer.

A. They would get the first down 75-80% of the time.

B. They scored from the 8 anyway.

C. It takes one to know one.

this really isnt that complicated. you have the #1 defense in the country. the % of an offense scoring when they take over at the 8 are smaller than they are that youll convert 4th down from midfield.

I love how you conveniently leave out of the equation the fact that OSU has 2 of the the top 5-10 offensive players in the country...:com:

"the bunker"
havew the refs been instructed to keep this close?....

because that first penalty on the center was totally bogus.....

the nose guard hesitated...and the center never straightened up....

is the guy supposed to stand there with his d-ck hangin` out?...

it doesnt matter. they also have great players on the D-line that would take your 75%-80% conversion percentage into the 50/50 range.

the % of teams that score when they take over inside their own 10 is astonishly low. less than 10% i believe.

Sure, having two Hesiman caliber players doesn't matter...could you make a more ignorant statement?

carr should be able to have faith in his #1 ranked defense on a 92-yard field. this really isnt complicated. im surprised youre so thrown out of whack by this. ok, so osu has heisman caliber players. the %s are still incredibly low they score a TD with a 92-yd field

Are we watching the same game? This is the defense that's given up 28 friggin points in one half right?? Bottom line is this. They had a very good chance of converting that first down. Instead, they punted and gave up a touchdown. END OF STORY!

the decision was a no-brainer for carr. enjoy the rest of the game man.
