I can't get enough of this song.
Bonham rocks on every track this band presents.

Let me know of any takes regarding better drumming (by your point of view) in any rock n' roll song and I will certainly check it out, whether I know the track or not.

Page is/was exceptional but Bonham made this quartet what it was.
Sensational.

thought, pretty quick, that that was Thank You, though the credits gave it away at the end. Off LZ II, if I remember right.

Got a link on the same page to a Kashmir piece, so I'll provide it--hope it's the studio track (heard several live versions but the original studio piece almost--ALMOST--makes me believe in god).

Thank You

On the course!
Taste in music, is just that.

Bonzo did a lot with a little, as far as his drum set goes. A lot of his "would be's" used a lot more equipment to get his "sound".

actually, vinnie provides the link to the 8:51 live version of Kashmir that popped up with the Thank You piece--a couple posts above.

Checking it out now.
Still think the studio is essential--will see if one is available.

...

that was excellent!

Still think the studio is a must, for those uninitiated, but that was great.

Let me take you there

If not for music then my end would have been reached already.
God bless rock n' roll!

Here
Bonham was great no doubt. Zep was and is one my favorite bands.

This always brings back memories...when I think of drummers from different bands...

That Travis Barker stuff is pretty cool. Not sure who he plays for but will check some out if you let me know, or otherwise if I search.

Still think Bonham is better--heard solos by him, such as the extended Moby Dick stuff, but my love of Kashmir is for the way the drumming just keeps that song in rhythm throughout the course. Need to find a studio link, if available.

Neil Peart (Rush) does some excellent solo'ing, too. Within a song, however, Kashmir remains my absolute fave work.

Travis Barker uses his "smashing" of the drums to mask the fact that he is fairly mediocre, at best.
