LOOKS like a better card today but I am running out of patience for this twack to start co-operting once again.
Today
1st race: Yesterday, the most prob. winnah on the card was in an early race, Hollopenny. Putting at least a couple of $20s on that one to win would have been the way to go if the name at the front gate read "Aqueduct", but NOT Philly. Sure enough, that one won. Think it paid $4.60.
Today, the same situation arises with the 2nd race - play is no. 2 Nanseeyouin Heaven. M.L. is 3-1 but I could see this one getting bet to favoritism. It only takes ONE thing to make me pass (at this track) on the big straight bet thingy and, in this case, it's the jockey. I still think this one is best. However, the play is NO. 6, Prairie Trip (6-1 M.L.) cause we're talking Philly. Wheel top/bot. And, of course, a little extra on the ticket with the no. 2 on it.
3rd race: I spent (wasted?) the time with this one and come up with No PLAY.
FYI, the ratings I got are 1-5-2.
4th race: Tries, anybody? If so, 2/1,4,6,7/1,4,6,7 AND 1,4,6,7/2/1,4,6,7.
Don't forget the "magic" in this one either... exata box, 2<->6.
6th race: KEYs are nos. 6 and 8. One gets wheeled top/bot the other gets played across the board (2x Show). Both are at good odds. OH, a little 2<->6 exacta action? You betcha!
8th race: In this race - see the hoss I wrote a LOT about a couple of weeks ago (how much I LUV this hoss). Well, she's in with much tougher today. Pass her up at your own risk, I ain't. The play is Barely Nothing any which way ya can think of. Nos. 3,4,6 look like nice mates for her for starters. I'll prob add at least one more to go with Barely.
Yet, no. 5 has all the credentials to win this race and needs to be played on the side, prob. to WIN, only.
Going a bit overboard today. Thinking that I'm due for a payday and if things go sour today - it's gonna be time for a horsey vacation, prob. after this week.
G.L. today at your track of choice.
