Caesar, Im watching Oregon and the info i got was they were a top 3 team but the two things don't match up. Am I missing something. Or am i just talking out of my ass again?
Maybe you have watched all their games and they have just been playing Pac10 scrubs so you think they can play with the big boys. Tsk Tsk Tsk.

I am the first to say you cant make much out of Bowl games. But when an Arizona State team that had USC down 18 and lead in the 4th cant even stop Rutgers and barely wins at home, and an Oregon team that lead USC into the 3rd Qtr cant even move on OU, it starts getting harder to not make something of it.

Oh shut up Sun Tzu, you have been on all my posts saying how you have to be soooo stupid to make something of bowl games and that is what fools do and etc. etc. etc. so dont start saying well i geuss there is something to these bowl games that could hint atthe bigger picture.

can OU score another. Stoops knos this game and the pAC-10 does not. Going into halftime Stoops almost let it slip. He was about to say that they had been setting Oregon up th eentire first half and then he just said thye were so close on some plays. WHAT A GENIOUS!

Obviously you forgot to mention the obvious. USC faced the 1st string QB of ASU and 1st string QB of Oregon. Both starting QB's for BOTH teams suffered season ending injuries.

Another obvious thing you didn't point out is USC played @Oregon (maybe top 5 hostile environment in country) and @ASU (in over 100 degree weather and sellout)

3rd thing you fail to mention is USC had to play BOTH teams BACK TO BACK WEEKS!

Lastly, playing USC is a hell of lot bigger game than playing OU or Rutgers.

Scott - Long time lurker... Just curious, how nervous are you having this much loot riding on the game 1/4? I know your posts do a good job (in general) of justifying your bet - just curious how much this wager is impacting your day-to-day life right now?

Honestly, I am not nervous. I am very confident USC will win and prob. win by double digits. I'll have a write-up posted why I am so confident. Sometime after Jan. 1st. So it is not impacting me day to day. Unless Leinart gets injured! :scared

If I don't hedge I'll be nervous on gameday. Right now I am not sure what I'll do. If I hedge I was thinking 10k on Texas ML. I won my big USC to go undefeated wager 3k to win 6,900. I also had profitable CFB season. Also have ton of profit sitting in sportsbook or bank account. I still have over 20k on USC to win it all at +190 odds. Still big chunk and I'll post if I hedge/middle or not.

Right now I am leaning to leaving my bet alone.

USC has practiced last 2 days and team looks VERY SHARP. (was told this did not see it wtih own eyes) Also players are healthy and USC starting LB Rivers is back 100%! USC team is practicing with same intensity they have for their last 3 BCS blowouts. NO COMPLACENCY! USC is not overconfident.
