I had KC tonight and just about gave up.
They were trailing the Twins 8-4.
They tied it in the 9th at 10-10
and won it in the 12th....12-10.
So yes, I did get lucky in OT tonight.

Not as painful as Boston killing my 8 teamer last night. Now, that is pain !

Would be interesting to track something like that; I've always believed it would be worthy to track "bad beats" and "late covers" just to stop going insane - hopefully but i guess your judgement on which was which would be clouded...

I never put a "W" on my records sheet until the game is over. But I went to bed feeling fairly good about my Twin's wager.
I woke up in a hurry when I saw that final score. Reminds me of last Sunday when I laid the big lumber on the Red Sox vs. the sorry Royals.
Kinda puts a little cloud on a great day.

it also seems to be a bad deal for me also but what is a worse record for me is this, i have one online book that every now and then i cant get in. it is almost like the betting gods are saying you dont want to do that today. well i go somewhere else and place my wagers and sure enough 9 out of ten times i have horrible days. another thing sometimes the book i have problems getting into i place a bet and confirm my wager only to be told the line has moved and i need to go back and re place my wager. i swear when this happens i dont hit 10% of the plays. it is unreal sometimes i just laugh. good luck
Xtra inning losses by one run in DET game and COLO game cost me 2 different 8 teamers at GC for about $4300. Both teams had 2-0 leads at one point. I'd rather get beat 100 - 0.

Damnit, Jack. I was on fire in extra innings, winning my last two with road teams even, and then I lost Detroit today. I got murdered by OT in NBA and NHL all year, btw. Expecially NBA where I would have 7 point dogs lose by 9. Ugh.

Monarchos and Congaree in the Derby.
Congaree got nipped at the wire as you
all know by Invisible ...whoever
and he got NOTHING.
The exacta with Monarchos and Congaree would
have paid about $250.
Do the math....25 times 250!!!!
He missed it by less that a nose at the wire.
Beat out by a 50-1 shot.
Try sleeping on that one.

im going to track my OT and extra inning loss and win record here. i know i'm way behind on these but will start tracking since the minny loss on saturday.
lost col in extra innings on sunday. cost me 4.97 units.
0-2 -7.97 units. of course it's more units than THAT because i was expecting the "W", but i'll count what i lost on the game. i'll be counting my 'good' fortune too (if there IS such a thing)

I also won one tonight(Anaheim) Also the NYY Over but that was bound to happen once it was 4-4 anyway..love those kind of overs.
