The Gophers (17-3, 5-3 Big Ten) won for the first time in Bloomington since February 2004.
The Hoosiers (5-13, 0-6) were led by Devan Dumes with 19 points and Malik Story with 14, but Dumes missed a potential tying 3-pointer with 2.3 seconds left.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP)?Earl Clark scored five of his 16 points in the final two minutes and No. 9 Louisville held off No. 8 Syracuse 67-57 on Saturday.
After Eric Devendorf gave Syracuse a 55-54 lead with 2:55 left, Clark hit a 3-pointer from right wing to put the Cardinals ahead to stay as the Orange misfired repeatedly in the closing minutes. Syracuse, averaging 80.4 points a game, had only two field goals in the last seven minutes in being held to a season-low in points.
It was the seventh straight win for Louisville (15-3, 6-0 Big East), which handed Pittsburgh its first loss of the season, 69-63, eight days ago. Syracuse (17-4, 5-3) lost its second straight?the Orange lost 78-60 at No. 4 Pitt on Monday

Florida (17-3, 4-1 SEC) won for the 11th time in 12 games with the lone loss coming on a buzzer-beater at South Carolina on Wednesday night. The Gators more than bounced back by hitting a season-best 15 3-pointers, with Parsons hitting seven of eight.
Vanderbilt (12-7, 1-4) lost its third straight and fourth in five games after failing to hold onto a six-point margin in the opening minutes.

NEWARK, N.J. (AP)?Jeremy Hazell scored 23 points, including the clinching free throws with 8.1 seconds left that helped Seton Hall get its first Big East win of the season.
The Pirates (10-9, 1-6) won by holding the Hoyas (12-6, 3-4) to their worst shooting game of the season and despite not hitting a 3-pointer in a game for the first time in more than 17 years. Seton Hall had lost six straight and eight of nine and four of the losses were to ranked teams.
Freshman Greg Monroe had 17 points to lead Georgetown, which lost its third straight.
