BIG PROPS TO USC,,,they deserve it, but the rest of the PAC 10 and USC included is no where near the calibur of the SEC programs,,,,NO WHERE,,,you are simply not even thinking about it,,,WEEK in and WEEK out the SEC up and down the board can beat most all of PAC 10 on a weekly basis...Do not pull out your stats,,you played no one with STRENGTH...PAC 10 is worthless..In the top 20 this year USC is ranked #1 and that is it...LETS SEE how many from the SEC are in the top 20 (dont forget that they play each other on a weekly basis too) ummmmmm 5....How about that and I see here two other teams in FLA that mix it up in the SEC schedulee that are in the top 10,,,,WOW,,,how about that,,,while you guys play SDST, HAwaii, BYU, UNLV, and one another, I cant imagine even being tired,,I know living out here in the WEST the TV programing SUCKS as far as sports goes..I will never forget First day of College Football, I am excited,,have my BEER and my remote,,gonna watch Miami against FLA and I will be damn they show me BYU against Stanford or something very scissy like I about died.... calling out idiotic posts proves one's points.....the basis of the original debate was that the SEC is VASTLY SUPERIOR to the pac-10.....this simply is not true.

Are there more teams in the SEC than the pac-10? YES

Should they have more wins and bowl wins? Yes they get 7 teans in bowl games every year.

Are there more good teams at the top of the sec than the pac-10? YES

Are there more horrible teams at the bottom of the sec than the pac-10? YES

Are there SIGNIFICANTLY more NFL caliber players in the sec than the pac-10? NO

Which conference is better? in my opinion, most every BCS conf is about the same...however au2001 (and this new guy)continiue to state that without question the sec is vastly superior and the pac-10 is no better than the mac-wac-mountain west-etc...

from my perspective, their posts are pointless and biased...they dont recognize the pac-10 AT ALL....i believe that some years the sec is better than the pac-10 and others the pac-10 is better than the sec but overall they are about the same.....au thinks vandy beats almost eveyone in the pac-10 not named SC.........talk about a pointless argument that should dimish one's credibility.

SEC has a losing record against Pac 10 opponents in the last 6+ years. Sad thing is the Pac 10 played MORE games on the road in SEC country vs SEC teams playing on the road against Pac 10 teams. How embarrassing. ;142loser:

I didnt post the 2005 ooc schedule.. that's why I said future schedules and didnt post gtech playing auburn.
You guys can make fun of arizona all day long, it obviously doesnt bother me, but calling them out for their schedule is a joke. They only play NAU because the state board of regents for Arizona mandates either ASU or UA to play NAU every season

The poster was pumping up the SEC as a superior conference. Thought I throw out some FACTS about the SEC vs the Pac 10 and 2 non Pac 10 schools. You see, the SEC doesn't play too many BCS schools in OOC play. After that statement, I posted SEC vs Pac 10 head to head. FYI, this argument is about the SEC being superior to the Pac 10. So the data I am going to throw out are RECENT data. Not gonna throw out stats from 20+ years ago. My argument is that the SEC is not superior to the Pac 10. Therefore I am talking about the present and the last 5+ years. There is no argument for the SEC being superior to the Pac 10. There might be an argument whether or not the SEC is better than the Pac 10. Posters who think the SEC is so vastly superior to the Pac 10 cannot make a valid argument supporting their delusional opinion. They also can't counter argue the facts thrown at them! This explains your wrath against me!
