thats a fumble, how could one ref possibly overturn the original fumble call, what could he have seen?
terrible

I don't disagree, BUT, if the Packers were forced to use a second challenge already that really would be bullshit.

Also, (I am biased), but the only terrible call prior was the no-call on the hit to Finley.

So. Cal
what a fuking crock

its a fumble then they magically change the ruling on the field to being down......and then....after clear replay evidence that it was a fumble, they call it as stands???

what a fuking joke

I still think you could make a real case that he never made a "wide receiver move". But, since they didn't say any such thing, I kinda have to agree: pretty bad call.

True, but honestly if the Packers were forced to use a second challenge their with the weird challenge rules after the first one was fiarly obvious anyway, that would have been rough.

so lets turn an obvious call around because we dont want them to be out of challenges?

nice rationale.

it's the idiocy of replay.......we can fuck up twice.....you can correct it.....then, we can fuck you all game long and there's nothing you can do about it!

I just think the ref absolutely needed to say more there... something. Was it inconclusive? No WR move? Simultaneous? To just say "call stands"... like I said, I have to agree it's a pretty bad call.

Totally fair point. In my honest opinion though, during the actual play it didn't look like a fumble at all to me. In the past I think they call that off every time, but now I think they let the play go because they KNOW a challenge can reverse it one way and not the other. I really do think that was the referee mindset there.
