Cops stopped the car Hilton was in after spotting what they believed was marijuana smoke pouring out of the windows, a police spokesman told The Associated Press.
A Clark County Detention Center clerk said early Saturday morning that Hilton "had been booked and released," CBS News reported.
A friend of Hilton's drove the car, police said.
Last week, a knife-wielding intruder broke into Hilton's home, only to have her boyfriend, Cy Waits, pull a gun on the man, a law enforcement source told the Daily News. Waits forced the intruder to drop his weapons and lay on his stomach until the police arrived.
Hilton, 29, was arrested earlier this summer in South Africa for suspected possession of marijuana, but the charges were dropped after a friend confessed the pot was hers.
A couple weeks later, Hilton was briefly detained in France for having less than a gram of pot in her purse.
In 2007, she pleaded no contest to reckless driving and spent 23 days in jail.

These may be the best line I have heard in a while.

Hilton's attorney, David Chesnoff, told The Associated Press on Saturday morning that he was still gathering facts about the arrest.

"I caution people not to rush to judgment," he said. :mj07:


Waits' lawyer, Richard Schonfeld said "As the case proceeds, a lot of facts are going to come to light that will ultimately lead to exoneration."

I am sure it is a huge misunderstanding and the coke in her purse was not hers. The smoke coming from the car engine trouble and not pot.
These people just don't get that making up BS only makes you like like a lying cokehead instead just a cokehead.

Let's recap Paris Hilton's life so far:

Let some dumbass make a porn tape of her.
Arrested for drunk driving.
Went to jail for a month.
Got arrested for pot in South America.
Now got arrested for coke in Vegas.

Mom must be proud.

Tiger Woods and now Paris Hilton.

Cadillac's new commercial "If losers like this can afford an Escalade then why can't you."

Maybe we should have a poll? If you had a sextape of yourself and another person and you were offered 2 million dollars, would you sell the tape?

You damn right I would......and I can tell ya, I ain't the only one.

For 2 million bucks......I mean come on:scared

As long as it is ok with those involved in the tape, I'd sell it. Simple as that.

And I'll say again......I ain't the only one that would sell a sextape of myself for 2 million bucks


Of course the current offer I have for one of my tapes is one dollar, I am holding out for 2 bucks:D

Hopefully this goes to trial & she is found guilty & gets the chair....That'll make one less useless person taking up space....

I will always remember Larry King interviewing her after her last jail sentence and she mentioned that she had gotten religion and read the bible alot in jail. Larry then asked her what her favorite scripture was and she stared blankly at him and said she couldn't remember.
