so you beat the Pats early on only to go to that kill the clock

which of course backfires on your ass Tomlin cuz his name is Tom

but the football gods give you a break at home

only to be to cute and throw away a chance for OT to secure homefield in the AFC.

good luck in , Foxborough MA

Let's see how Tomlin manages this. All the negative Steelers fans always bitch about him. :0corn

Because he's a horrible game manager and won't fire Todd Haley who is the dumbest OC in the league. 3rd and 5 with home field on the line and you throw a 2 yard pass over the middle where NE has the box stacked.

Haley outsmarts himself and Tomlin isn't smart enough to see it.

Tomlin is a brick who is a winning coach because he's had enough talented players to cover up for his stupidity.

If a running back carries the ball over the goal line and then it gets knocked out of his hands it's still a TD because the play is over as soon as the ball crosses any part of the goal line. I don't understand why the same rule isn't in place for a receiver making a catch.

he caught the ball, turned, his knee hit the ground, wasn't touched and then reached the ball across the goal line. how is that different than a RB carrying it across?

the UNDER FUTHER REVIED has ruined nfl games for me and a lot of other friends of mine. that is not
what {under review} was for, it is meant to review a play if the coaches throw a red flag, not every fucking
play. the ref's can now control the outcome of any game..

FUCK THE N.F.L., thats it for me....

As the rule is written, I think they got the call right. I just don't understand why it's a different set of rules for one scenario vs the other.

Fuck that rule. There isn't a person on this planet who can explain that rule with confidence. That was a catch. I like rooting for the Patriots because so many people pile on them, but good god, how is that not a catch?:mj07:

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST RULE IN SPORTS...NO ONE KNOWS WHAT A CATCH IS...TO YOUR POINT, ONCE BALL CROSSES GL ITS A TD...IF HE WOULD HAVE BEEN TOUCHED HE WOULD HAVE BEEN DOWN, IF HE HAD BEEN TACKLED IN FIELD OF PLAY HE WOULD HAVE BEEN CALLED DOWN...NO ONE WOULD HAVE CHALLENGED IT.

because the RB is already established in play and with possession so once he pushes the ball past the plane, he is in where the WR has to obtain possession and maintain it through the process of the catch.

but I felt like there wasn't anything close to indisputable evidence that he dropped it on this play. can't the ball move as long as it doesn't hit the ground? was there a shot of the ball clearly hitting the ground because I didn't see one on TV.

Either way with the rule that sucks

Ben's pick was the biggest shit head move ever.

Spike the ball, kick the FG go to OT

The fade pass was there this is on the qb not a coach.

It should of been a TD, but by today?s rules he didn?t maintain possession all the way to the ground.

Yup this happens fairly regularly nowadays. Started years ago with Calvin Johnson, then with Dez Bryant. No longer any surprise when they call it.
