Let's see how Tomlin manages this. All the negative Steelers fans always bitch about him. :0corn
Because he's a horrible game manager and won't fire Todd Haley who is the dumbest OC in the league. 3rd and 5 with home field on the line and you throw a 2 yard pass over the middle where NE has the box stacked.
Haley outsmarts himself and Tomlin isn't smart enough to see it.
Tomlin is a brick who is a winning coach because he's had enough talented players to cover up for his stupidity.
THE NFL FUCKING BLOWS!!! HOW WASN'T THAT A PITT TD??? PLAYER HAS COMPLETE CONTROL REACHES FOR THE GOAL LINE AND CROSSES IT!! THATS A F TD!!!
If a running back carries the ball over the goal line and then it gets knocked out of his hands it's still a TD because the play is over as soon as the ball crosses any part of the goal line. I don't understand why the same rule isn't in place for a receiver making a catch.
he caught the ball, turned, his knee hit the ground, wasn't touched and then reached the ball across the goal line. how is that different than a RB carrying it across?
Totally agree, its the NFL always helping the Patriots!!

As the rule is written, I think they got the call right. I just don't understand why it's a different set of rules for one scenario vs the other.

Either way with the rule that sucks
Ben's pick was the biggest shit head move ever.
Spike the ball, kick the FG go to OT
It should of been a TD, but by today?s rules he didn?t maintain possession all the way to the ground.
