It's interesting how Brady, Welker, Mankins & Wilfork have all withdrawn from the Pro Bowl claiming injuries. Coincidentally each is suffering from what was clinically diagnosed as "hurt feelings". Your thoughts on these Patriots bailing out...

Shannon Sharpe said it best, they make it easy to hate them.

Sack up and play you lost, however I do think they should make an exception for the Conference losers as well.

Who the hell wants to go play in a worthless game a week after losing a game to go to the Super Bowl. Doesnt make sense. Actually, scrap the damn thing all together.

Who cares. Pro-bowl is a hunk of shit anyway.

this.

i dont know why they even bother to play it. by far the worst all star game in any sport.

just give the guys awards and spare everyone from having to watch the turd of a game.

The worst part is that many NFL?ers have bonuses in their contracts tied to making the Pro Bowl. These guys still get their bonus and then some substitute gets to bilk his team for a little more coin as that guy gets a bonus now too.

Total for Pro Bowl 85  defense in Baltimore

Game should be played in November....

As far as Patriots bailing I don't think any of them earned!

Patriot days are in the past...... :00x11

Would be better off just taking the pads off and playing 2 hand touch, or having a skills challenge or the like. The game is shit and a waste of everyones time. As to them bailing, I would probably do the same if I just played in the conference championship game.

Worked really well for Robert Edwards, New England Patriots, 1999.

Edwards ran for 1,115 yards and nine touchdowns as a rookie in 1998 but tore up his left knee during a beach flag football exhibition during the week of the Pro Bowl. He returned to the field in 2002 with the Dolphins, running for 107 yards and a touchdown as a backup.

Did I suggest the game/skills challenge take place on the beach:shrug:

Pats have been my favorite team for years, but their entire organization is a bunch of whiny ass sore losers.
