I do agree he feels the urgency. Shows concern. But if we give him all that $$$$$. For sure there has to be over sight. I hope a two or three man/woman group to do this. Folks like a Blomeberg/Rommney/Buffet.
I was happy to here Obama say he may need to stay on whom ever is elected to help.

Yeah it must be hard to give away 700 billion dollars that doesn't really exist, to what amounts to his coworkers in the financial industry.

I don't know i see a bunch of crooks trying to push through legislation to screw us even more. What am i missing here? Didn't we see this same game leading up to the Iraq war? This guy wants no oversight are you kidding me? I will say this. The Republicans finally found a back bone and told Cheney to go shove his thieving ways up his ass. Welcome to the party Republicans. Heard Cheney tried to peddle his bullshit once again to the Republicans and they stood up in masses and told him to go get fuked. After giving this **** sucker every thing he wanted for 7 years they finally realize this prick doesn't care about anyone but himself and a few others.

Sorry Sponge, maybe you should listen to your Democrats on the IRAQ war instead of trying to change history. TIA.

Democrats don't speak for me Skulnik. You can bring this argument up a million times because this is what a sheep like you does. That is the problem with a nitwit like you. I call a spade a spade. While you put the party ahead of the country, i put the country before the party. I think every Dem that voted for this cunning war should be thrown out of office. If they were to stupid to realize this was a con job from the start, they shouldn't be representing the country. The bigger picture is the con men that got away with it. these are dirty people who you blindly suport and the Republicans have finally notice it telling Cheney to take his thieving ways eleswhere.

Sorry Sponge, both parties got us in to IRAQ, that's a FACT. People that say Bush anger the Muslims don't remember that the WTC was first BOMBED in 1993, W wasn't even the Governor of Texas at the time.

Fulk the democrats and hang the Republicans. The terroist are laughing it up today, they see what I see,our government at its best, posturing and selling this shit that they are going to protect the average man,the average tax payer and at the end of the day they will do what they have always done in the past, sell you and me out. They love to tell a story about Mary or Nancy that they have 14 kids and lost their job and you know the rest of the stupid ass story. What fools we have in our government. They keep on selling this shit and I'm not buying. Not bought their shit in 30 years.I'll pray for change, but I've never had any luck at praying. Good luck Sponge, keep up the FIGHT for whats RIGHT.

How much a year do we spend on our Military? And Bin Laden flies a few planes into buildings on one day! and we collaspe. What a joke these crooks are. On both sides of the aisle. The Neocons are the enemy. And they are both Dems and Repubs. Once you Republicans figure that out we might stand a chance. Until then we are the stupid sheep the neocons think we are.

In a private conversation : Cheney to Bush :quote: God wouldn't of made them sheep if he didn't want them sheared.
Answer this for me," I've not been paying that much attention", since I got that second job,you know having to buy food, gas and medicine and being sheared every year. How many times has CHENEY been in control of NORAD and running War games since 9/11.Logic would tell you that if we are so vulnerable to terriost that Cheney would be playing war games quite often, don't you think ?

In the Dems defense Mav the Republicans have been fillbusting every bill they can. The same Republicans who asked for up and down votes the 7 years they were in control and the Dems fell for it hook line and sinker. Im not sure they Dems are in bed with them or they are just this flat out naive. They have to be in bed with them because nobody could be this easily conned.

And how many people in this thread talking a big game are voting Independent this Fall?

Good for you if you are.

Paulson is doing a very good job at this point with the cards that are on the table.

A vote for a third party is a wasted vote. The third party has to establish itself first. Part of the reason we are in this mess with Bush in the first place is because of third party Ralph Nader. An independent will have 4 years to establish himself. Of course the Corporate Press will make him look like an idiot along the way.

easy to say for a tennessee voter since mccain wins there anyway.

i've voted independant more than anything over the years and may do so again this year but things are close in indiana and i might have to throw in a defensive vote.

How does it "establish itself" without people that are pissed off with our current system to vote for real change?

And there is only one reason why Bush was elected both times. He was running against pretty weak (Gore) and REALLY weak (Kerry) opponents. If the Dems could find somebody in their party that is halfway acceptable, then they would have won hands-down (with or without Nader) in the last election.
